ADL and Foxman: Zionists First, Americans MUCH Later...

Glenn...come on, I admire your trying to hold Foxman and the ADL's feet to the fire, but groups like this just LOVE this sort of exchange. Because you're either with them, or you're out to persecute them.

Now they can add Salon to the long list of everyone out to persecute them, and use it to raise more funds that they can turn around and use to intimidate our politicians and the few media left who are willing to speak honestly about the incestuous and suicidal U.S. - Israeli relationship.

In the end, "...the question of whether the ADL is applying its outrage practices selectively and politically..." has the same answer as whether Joe Lieberman applies his "liberal" practices selectively and politically.

ADL, AIPAC, Foxman, Lieberman, et. al. are now and forever Zionists first, Americans later.

That is why they are aligned firmly with the neocon warmongers who want to blow Iran off the map. Because, it's golden to scream "Ahmedinijad is the new Hitler" 24-7. And a few utterances by O'Reilly that "MoveOn.org and DailyKos are Nazis" are a miniscule and easily overlooked price to pay to pay in exchange for having one major media outlet beating the drum for war.

Zionists and the Christian right have long been strange bedfellows, and now we have Zionists and the Neo-con Media in bed together.

Kudos for trying to get them to own up to their hypocrisy, but they won't, Glenn. Zionists NEVER do.

Hmmm....

Maybe President Obama will create a Department of the Environment (having disbanded the useless Department of Homeland Insecurity), and appoint Al Gore the "Environment Tzar"?

One can dream, right?

Thanks, Tim

For an excellent post. Now, we can only hope that Hillary's people read it.

But they probably won't. They're too busy sending out more politispam trying to smear their opponents, instead of actually doing something positive...

Having Boylan as your PR Spokesman is like Having Britney as Your Babysitter

I've long held that Bush and Cheney have Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Sounds like Boylan's drinking some of that same wacky koolaid at the mess tent. Can't we just spike all of 'ems drinks with lithium and hope for better days?

The thing I can't figure is WHY in hell would Petraeus want an aggressive SOB like this guy as a PR spokesman? Kind of like hiring Britney as your babysitter...

Who would want someone with clear anger issues, likely mental health problems, who is also such a bloody rotten liar, to be their REPRESENTATIVE to the media?

We hear about how "upstanding" Petraeus is, but if he works regularly with this guy, knowing how he acts, it also says a whole hell of a lot about Petraeus' character -- or lack thereof -- that he would not only tolerate, but apparently be ok with -- this sort of mentally unstable, angry wingding as his spokesman.

Boylan couldn't get a job as VP of Public Relations

in the real world.

Only the demented fantasy-land created by the Neocons and their Narcissistic Personality Disordered leaders Bush and Cheney is this arrogant bastard qualified to do PR for anyone or anything.

Boylan is mentally disturbed -- that is clear.

I still don't get how Petraeus actually WANTS this guy representing him in public.

This guy is in Public Abuse, not Public Affairs...

Novelists-->Fiction

The woman is a novelist -- and not a particularly good one, at that.

Which means it's no surprise that she's trying to ride someone else's coattails.

Some people will do anything to help their lousy book ratings in Amazon...

Just in case anyone hasn't noticed...

the Dems are really no better than the Republicans. You have a dumb-as-a-rock and utterly unpopular president and a cabal of mentally unstable warmongers, and a party run amok and self-destructing, and yet the Dems STILL can't figure out how to walk and chew gum at the same time.

How stupid are they? The answer: WAY stupid.

If God forbid we are looking at "President for Life" Generallisimo George W bush in Nov 2008, or President Rudy Mussolini, or Mike Huckster, etc., we have no one to blame but Feinstein, Schumer, Pelosi, Reid, Clinton, and the rest of them who don't have the cojones or sense to vote against torture, against the war, against war in Iran, etc. and just keep mumble-mouthing and forgetting that they're supposed to be LIBERALS...and DEMOCRATS...

Poor downtrodden little wingnuts.

Nellie is FANTASTIC!!

If you want another ironic, iconic song, check out "I Wanna Get Married"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dMbBDiM1rmE

This is a Youtube video of her singing this on The View (Disregard the pre-song ramblings of anti-feminists Star Jones and Elisabeth Hasselbeck) or forward to minute 2:00 to avoid all blathering...

Also note the subversive BabaWawa hairdo and pink suit Nellie she wore for this appearance!

She's magic!!!

More Men for the List...

Alan Rickman: sexy, smart, edgy -- need we say more. Last year, many of us noted our adoration for this smart sex symbol

Stephen Colbert: behind those glasses, ooh baby

Keith Olbermann: smart, passionate...love him!

Johnny Depp: I don't know a woman...from a pre-teen to senior, who doesn't get a twinkle in her eye thinking about him

Charles Gibson: ABC News' anchor has that sort of warm fuzzy sexy thing going on

P.S. Don Draper was a good choice for #1... but it really is Draper, not Hamm -- something about the slicked back hair and the 60s suit and the master of the universe attitude seems to capture a long-gone sexiness

For the Alan Rickman Fans Out There

For those of you who adore Alan Rickman -- as I do -- and those who have not yet discovered his charms, I dare you to watch this video and not become one of the believers... ;-)
