Brit Awards

Regarding the 'lamenting' by The Guardian about Paul Weller receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Brits, in the weeks following up to the ceremony, the paper published at least 2 articles praising Weller for his contributions to Brit popular culture and music. This is a typical example of the media building a person up, then tearing them back down again.

But you didn't mention the best part! At the end of the interview, Howie tried to cover for Laura Inghram's nasty self, and said that said horrid person had just gotten back from Iraq.

Our role model replied, "For 8 days." Stone cold, man. Lara Logan is my hero.
