Not since the 1990s...

Has anything like what Greenwald is describing been done? Yes, we did this to Iraq...in the 1990s, and we did it to Sudan...during the Monica Lewinsky hearings, and we did it to Serbia, targeting their water and electricity utilities.

So because a people want to be free of their tyrannical government, Greenwald is saying countries outside their borders who consider them a threat should do nothing or else not claim to be sympathetic to the people's desire for liberty? I'm sure the people of North Korea also want out of Kim Jong Il's animal farm. Is there really nothing that the North Korean government could do that would warrant more than head wagging??

Wow, David Talbot! What a B.S. artist you are!

It seems to be working out for you, though.

So a former Alaska legislator serving time for corruption feels "betrayed" because "after [his] indictment, she didn't give him the time of day" and "she called on him to resign his office".

And during her 2 years as governor she failed to drive "the state GOP chairman Randy Ruedrich from the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission for flagrant conflict-of-interest abuses". He was only fined $12K and publicly disgraced.

Well, that definitely proves that "the idea that Sarah shook up the state's old-boy network is one big fantasy" (so says the guy who came in single digits for the governor's race against Palin.)
