Original article: Are they "Hung"?

A Better Show...

While I haven't watched "Hung" yet, I find that, even fully clothed, the characters on "Boston Legal" are pretty damned sexy with dialogue to match!

"Hung" sounds pretty boring in comparison!

Original article: Palin leaves office

What I love about Sarah Palin...

She is great 'theater' !!! She never disappoints with her crazy behavior!

Thaaaaat's all, Folks!

Thursday, June 25, 2009 11:16 AM

Why is it....???

Why is it that every one of these Republican cheaters, to a man, pointed their finger and accused Bill Clinton of doing the same things they're doing.

It's OK for the Republicans but not OK for the Democrats?

Can't these guys keep their pants zipped..at least as long as they're in office. The guy who was taking the blame for fathering John Edwards illegitimate child is shopping a book and will admit that he lied about being the baby's father..that Edwards is the real dad and he (Andrew Young) was just the 'beard'...

What else can Edwards do to his poor wife Elizabeth?

Sanford didn't say, "I beg my wife's forgiveness"....he said, "I apologize"...and she's willing to take him back...in time!!

Incredible!!

SHAME, SHAME!

GOOD GRIEF!!

We finally have a First Lady with a sense of style, and fashion smarts ala Jackie Kennedy. She knows how to dress, how to maximize her assets. IMO, she always looks very put-together and knows exactly what to wear for each occasion.

Laura Bush had "The Suit" in 45 colors...you could bet the farm that whatever the event, she would show up in The Suit. Hillary has her pants suits and they suit her quite well. But Michelle Obama is on the international scene and from what I've seen so far, she's a winner!

She wore a cardigan when she met the Queen...SO WHAT?? It was tasteful. Be thankful we don't have another frump like Laura again...or a peacock like Cindy McCain! A $300,000 outfit at the Republic Convention??? PUH-LEESE!

Second Hand Rose

As Ms. Lay's mother was strolling thru the Ritz, these words could be heard...

"Once while strolling thru the Ritz

a girl got my goat

She nudged her friend and said,

Oh, look! There goes my old fur coat!"

She sounds an enterprising woman and quite talented...but I wouldn't have wanted the smell as I was sewing this creation!

No Panic Yet...

Here in Los Angeles County, the typical death rate any given year due to flu is 1,000...that's in a population of 4 million..so far, there have been no reported cases of the swine flu here.

I'll start worrying when the 10th one occurs....then I'll go to my doctor and get a flu shot.

George Bush would have handled this situation like he did Katrina...IOW, he would do nothing. Obama, with all he has on his plate, is on top of this and is very reassuring.

Original article: Paul Newman dead

"You're gonna miss me...."

As Paul Newman said to Orson Welles, in "The Long, Hot Summer"..."You're gonna miss me!"

That we will, Paul..that we will. RIP.

Original article: Palin watch ends!

A Question for Palin

James Rainey asks a good question in today's L.A. Times:

What's at the root of the terrorist problem in Pakistan? And how would you make progress, which was eluded the Bush administration, in that dangerous country?

What do you suppose Ms. Palin answer would be??

Original article: A pit bull in lipstick?

Moose Hunter in the White House!

Will the Pit Bull adorn the VP Mansion with moose heads, caribou pelts, polar bear rugs and seal skins?

The convention-goers at the DNC looked happy, wore crazy hats and lots of buttons and had a great time. In contrast, the RNC looks like they just got back from church!..and their cheers seemed forced..

The only thing missing last night was the Ku Klux Klan!

Gotta love that billboard!

Who says Georgie and Johnny aren't in bed together?

...And her favorite dish is...

...Moose Stew. Bagged by her, of course.

From Alaska...

A letter to the editor in today's Los Angeles Times, 8/30/08:

"Palin has been my governor now for two years nd I'm worried about Sen. John McCain's judgment in picking her as his running mate.

If this country could see Wasilla, the town of which she was mayor--this job being half of her resume--they would also question McCain's judgment.

I and most of my neighbors are absolutely stunned by this choice"

"His sexual issues cost us dearly"...??

<<I think Bill Clinton is a deeply flawed human being. His sexual issues cost us dearly.>>

What did it cost YOU, akaSmith?? It didn't cost me anything! What he did was his private business and didn't affect me or my family in any way.

What he DID do was give us a great economy when he was President. Bush took it all away when he took office...I would say that Bush is the President who cost us dearly!

This article only helps me...

dig in my heels all the more..I'm STILL writing in Hillary's name on the November ballot.

Original article: John McCain, Internet dunce

The top Brain Surgeons in the USA

McCain graduated 894 out of 899 students at Annapolis..

Also Annapolis isnt hard to get into.

George W. Bush graduated just a little bit higher from Yale...but not much.

Monday, June 23, 2008 10:54 AM

Just watch me!!

I, for one, will NOT come back to the fold..instead, I will write in Hillary's name on my ballot.

Obama hasn't done it for me and I'd never vote Republican. Maybe we can change History!!

Thursday, June 12, 2008 12:34 PM

Bumper Sticker

I saw a bumper sticker this morning that said,

"Cheney & Satan in '08"..

I thought Cheney WAS Satan!!?...or is McCain going to pick him for his running mate?

Original article: Clinton news roundup

What if....???

..the Obama supporters found out that he can't possibly begin to deliver that they THINK he can???

Will they point their fingers at Hillary? If McCain wins, will she be blamed for it??

Sunday, June 8, 2008 12:28 PM
Original article: Clinton endorses Obama

Will I vote for Obama??

The answer is NO. After the media bashing and the Obamamaniacs bashing of Hillary for the whole campaign, they think they're going to get my vote? No way! They put her thru the mill and she didn't deserve that. And if they think the 18 million Hillary supporters are gong to lay down and do what they say, they're in for a big surprise!

We're not kissing anyone's a$$, especially Obama's!

..I'll write in Hillary's name on my ballot or just not vote at all.

Friday, June 6, 2008 11:09 AM

Dianne Feinstein would ge a great choice

She is low-key and would work well with Obama...he and Hillary met at Dianne's house last night, when they sneaked out of Hillary's house...Hmmm.

She's done some good things for us Californians.
