I am afraid that I disagree. No matter what John Kerry did or did not do, the lapdog (thank you Eric)/Pre$$titute/Media whoring gang of 500 would have distorted his words. Only one single individual would not play:

From the Special Comment on MSNBC's Countdown, 01 Nov 2006

...And to continue this slander as late as this morning — as biased or gullible or lazy newscasters nodded in sleep-walking assent.

Mr. Keith Olbermann, was the only major media figure who said NO. I will not be a whore. I will not play He said/She said. I will not elevate Mr. Drudge, Mr. Limbaugh, Ms. Malkin, or any other member of the Right Wing Noise Machine to the level of Journalist. Other lazy newscasters may nod in sleep-walking assent, but I am awake.

I will investigate the facts and broadcast the results, chips fall where they may. AND I WILL CALL BULLSH-T WHEN I SEE BULLSH-T.

John Kerry's only crime was to be the victim of a press that is scared Sh-tless. Until every news person starts acting like Mr. Olbermann instead of the cowardly f-cks(apologies Rude One)that they've been for the past 6 years, we progressives do not stand a chance.

  • Here's to an even better future.

To true Mr. National. But the future is not that certain, and the intolerance of the past is all too real. In 2006, Gay bashing disguised as family values is alive in the eight states with anti gay marriage amendments.

Even the legacy of segregation, that demon of the past thought to be burned out of society shows up in political ads in Tennessee. The haters will not go gentle into the night.

    To quote Mr. Joe Bageant:

“…just because millions of Christians appear to be dangerously nuts does not mean they are marginal.” (http://www.counterpunch.org/bageant05252004.html)

Pastor Ted could have murdered someone, and the night of the church zombies would still follow blind. Hypocrisy, the double standard, do as I say and not as I do, means nothing. The minions of Satan have risen up, and we must slay them. The evil Homos must be purged by fire and sword. Death to the un-believers (In Christ love of course. Amen).

  • Assuming

[Read the article: Someone is going to look silly Tuesday night]

that the GOP is unable to steal this election, if the Democrats take the House Wednesday morning, I give the media whores less then 24 hours before they start to beat up on Peloisi and Reed.

After 12 years of kissing GOP Ass and giving them a free pass, all of sudden the stenographers will hold the D's accountable.

  • Madame

[Read the article: Pelosi's first press conference]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Speaker. Madam G-dd-amn Speaker. Damn but that sounds good.

Policy versus politics. Can she run the joint? Hell yeah. I saw her profile on 60 minutes and make no mistake, if the lady were a male, she would have two big brass ones.

Because Speaker Pelosi is a woman, she will be judged by different (read impossible) standards then Mr. Denny, who presided over, in the words of Rolling Stone, the worst Congress ever:

    http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/story/12055360/cover_story_time_to_go_inside_the_worst_congress_ever

So we wait for the future, payback or forgiveness. The vast majority of the public has no clue how sh-tty the Republicans treated the Democrats these last 12 years. If Madam Speaker takes the high road, if she decides that revenge is for children and she is an adult, then God bless her. It is a challenge worth striving for.

  • What is actually

[Read the article: Reid vows legislation on robo-calls, phony sample ballot]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

needed ia an admendment to the Constitution:

Amidst the divisiveness of the United States Supreme Court's second foray into the 2000 Presidential election, it is easy to overlook the significance of the Court's earlier, unanimous ruling of December 4, 2000. A close reading of the decision in that case, Bush v. Palm Beach County Canvassing Board, reveals a clear consensus for what will strike many Americans as an outrageous proposition: there is no constitutional right to vote in a Presidential election. The fact that the state in which you reside even permits you to vote for electors is purely a matter of legislative grace.

    http://writ.news.findlaw.com/dorf/20001213.html

A matter of legislative grace? Crap.

    Amendment XXVII

    • Section 1. The Right of the Citizens of the United States to vote in all Federal and State elections shall not be denied. No state shall make or pass any law designed to disenfanchise any Citizen, nor shall excessive procedures or requirements to the voting process be required, or any identification not issued free of charge by the state allowed.
    • Section 2. The Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.
