The B is carved rather too neatly. Try pinning your roommate down and carvinga a B in their face, it won't look like that.

Well, I took your advice, and you're right, it didn't look like that, I only got the base of the B carved in before he kneed me in the balls, and called the police.

But seriously folks, it seems fake, but if she was going to fake it, instead of a B or an O, she should have carved an H, it wouldn't look backward, and she could have made the mugger to be a socialist muslim, that then distributed his haul to some of the homeless in the area, as he ran away.

Middle class

$128,000 for a family of 5 might be considered higher middle class if you weren't living in the governor's mansion, with the state government picking up the tab for everything. She even charged travel for her children to the state, and she used the search and rescue plane for her own private use.

So I'd say if she's not quite rich, she's at least moderately wealthy.

She should get a show on Fox News

Then at least, I would never see or hear her again.

If these poll numbers hold up

I might make an exception, and watch the returns on Fox News on election night, that should be pretty entertaining.

Katie Couric

I don't think Couric grilled Sarah Palin, the questions she asked were softballs, and easy to anticipate. She was rightly astonished that Palin couldn't answer such easy questions, but what made that interview so cringe inducing was realizing that McCain had truly picked someone so obviously not qualified for high office.

Dan Rather

Actually, the guy that roughed him up was William Tager, a deranged man that later killed a Today show staffer.

Yikes

That means that when I die, my choices are going to hell, or spending an eternity with Bush/McCain/Palin supporters! Talk about picking between a turd sandwich and a pitcher of urine.

"the Gay Black Midget Hentai Furry Star Trek Porn bloggers"

It was the Star Trek part that sold me, gay, black midgets in little homemade star fleet uniforms, who woudn't want to see that?

@Serai1

Was there really an episode like that? I saw a few of the Next Generation episodes here and there, but I'm a Kirk guy, not a Picard guy, so I mostly stick with the original series and movies.

Original article: Palin pranked

Wow

Did she really think the president of France was telling her that his wife was hot in bed, singing to her, and confusing a porn movie with a documentary about her life?

Even the comedian seemed to be amazed she wasn't catching on, no matter what over the top, goofy thing he said. I think he figured she would catch on when he talked about how fun it was to kill and take life away, after that, it was all just gravy for him. He finally seemed to get bored with it, she would have stayed on the phone until the battery died.

Supreme court

Hillary would be great, but if Obama wins, I want him to appoint 35 year olds in excellent health to the court.

I voted for Hillary in the primary, but if she was the nominee right now, we would probably be looking at an election map more like 2004, rather than boatloads of money, and the west in play. With Hillary as the nominee, McCain could have picked anyone he wanted as his running mate, and the religious right would fall in line, so if he picked Ridge, PA would be closer or in McCain's column. Of course, Arkansas would be in play too, with Bill practically living there to turn out the vote for his wife. So who knows, we just need to focus on tomorrow.

Original article: Talking to Sarah Palin

There is no excuse for Palin on this.

Maybe the first couple of minutes, but this went on for almost ten minutes, and would have went on until the phone battery died if the comedian hadn't finally gotten bored with it and let her in on the joke.

A joke like this was played on Romney during the primaries, with his son calling him using a soundboard, saying it was governor Schwarzenegger, Romney caught on quickly and hung up, and it was really Schwarzenegger's voice, and wasn't nearly as outrageous as this phone call was.

Ted Stevens

I think she just didn't want to admit she voted for Ted Stevens, nothing more complicated than that.

McCain's legacy

It was a nice speech, maybe it was the real John McCain, maybe it wasn't, but a gracious speech will never make up for foisting Sarah Palin onto the national stage.

She turned out to be a gift to the Obama campaign, and is a large part of the reason Obama had such a big win, but I would rather the election have been closer, or even risk a McCain win, than having this disgusting woman now a part of the national dialogue.

This vile woman will now be a part of the American political landscape for years to come, Sarah Palin is the legacy of John McCain, he should be ashamed of himself.

State dinners?

I'm curious too, what did Bush do to ruin the state dinners?

I remember all too well 9/11, and the days after, hopefully we will now have a president that, after he's warned of an attack on American soil, won't just say, "now your ass is covered", and go fishing.

Original article: First lady got back

I have to agree

She sticks out in all the right places. Of course, Kucinich would have had the hottest first lady of all the candidates...with Fred Thompson's wife coming in a close second.

Whatever

I would prefer for him to be stripped of his chairmanship, but I don't want to spend one more second thinking about Loserman (what the republicans used to call him, before he became a useful idiot for them). So a big whatever to this news, he rolled the dice and lost, so he doesn't move up or down, whatever.

Tuesday, November 18, 2008 06:39 PM

Definately pulling for Tammy Duckworth

She lost the congressional race by just 2 percent, so we know she has the political chops. And after the seemingly endless assault on veterans benefits by Bush and republicans in congress for the last...feels like a hundred years, it would be great to have a senator that will actually be trying to help the disabled veterans Bush and his pals created.
