$$$

I wonder if Boston spends more money on their Donkey in left field and other players, then the all 3 teams the Rockies have played to get where they are. At least two of 'em.

Maybe what should be said is that if the Red Sox's don't win, they'll be embarrassed by a club with, what, 1/3 the resources and money behind them?

And, I never realized it til now, but god is AL baseball lame. A DH? Please. That ain't baseball.

Republican TROLLS

I love it! These poor bastards are like "Hey, those super rich people do everything, and if taxed them 3% more, they're going to stop working!"

What a bunch of bullshit.

No one is ever going to stop trying to make money. What planet do yo people live on? Oh, if I make $10 Million and the gov't takes half of it, and I get $5 Million. Oh, well, then never mind.

Who in the world would say that? NO ONE!

The Canard of "Pro Choice"

I think its silly to see many liberals just dismiss Paul because of his stance on abortion. Do you really think Ron Paul cares that much about it and would make it an issue? No. Of course not. He's just for ending the war, ending imperialism, and restricting the power of the federal gov't.

I'm for all of those things. Less federal gov't power does not mean I trust the market either. It's rather juvenile to consider these things as a dichotomy.

We'd be a lot better off with a more state-centered gov't then a national one.

As Greenwald said in his post earlier, Paul challenges the givens of the very serious foreign policy people on BOTH sides of the aisle: that America needs to police the world and have an empire.

We don't.

andycher: Paul is NOT anti-union

He even said at the last debate that in a free and open society, labor unions are natural part of it.

Chalk up another "liberal fear monger" trying to make Ron Paul "crazy".

Paul has also said political reality would prevent any of his more ideological views on SS and Medicare from happening.

People worrying about the "emotional" well-being of a dog

are the ones that need to be euthanized. Who has time and money to got a "Pet Psychiatrist" (what the hell is that?!??!) to see if little doggie has emotion problems?

It's just plain retarded to spend the vast amounts of time and money on animal care we do in this country. I too know someone who gives their cat insulin shots. What a joke! Let the damn thing die and get another cat. It's freakin' OK.

I'd even go that far with people.

My grandmother took 10 years to go from her first stroke to death. And while I can never be sure of my grandmother's mental state, I find it quite improbable to believe she was enjoying life. Some days she didn't know her own daughter's name. So when we'd visit her, she's thinking "who the hell are these people?!" Yeah. I'm sure that's pleasant.

Other days, she seemed to recognize her own daughter, but was incapable of communicating anything. I'm sure that's all happy and sunshines too. Being stuck in a destroyed body incapable of doing anything! Sign me up!

The only reason we keep the old and sick alive is for OURSELVES. People claiming otherwise are in most cases lying.

Some liberal I am.

things don't matter

dog fighting. what a joke. Dogs are dogs. Who cares if they fight? They are nothing more than property.

Michael Vick should be free, and the people against dog fighting should, you know, not support dog fighting!

Here's to freedom.

God is it sad

to see people forcing their beliefs on other people. Especially when it's as silly as "precious little snow flakes"---er, babies. This "you're only a good mother if you have the "baby" and give it up for adoption". You people, mind your own damn business and morality. YOU do that. Don't go pushing your self defined B.S. on ANYONE.

We have way too many people on this planet. Babies are NOT, repeat, NOT special. How can it be special if there are 6 Billion+ of us already here?!?!

If you want to be a good mother or a bad mother or an ok mother, abort the damn thing if you want!

And finally: morality is a human construct. It's nonsense.

WHO CARES HOW THE POOR SPEND IT

They will. It will be better for the country. And it won't result in $200 Billion loss because some RICH PEOPLE made a bunch of shitty loans.

That's what's so fucking funny about the sanctimonious decries of the poor and whatever their behavior might be.

At least the poor never started a war on lies, or sold weapons to Iran, or had a subprime meltdown, or an S&L bailout.

How many poor people lose $5 Billion in a day like the "rouge trader".

HILLBOTS - Obama has MORE Legislative Experience

Then Clinton.

Geez.

And he's older than Bill was.

Sour grapes!

WTF? Obama's mailer has a point

Clinton forces everyone to buy insurance, Obama does not.

It is a difference.

I got that mailer BEFORE the debate (actually I've gotten like 6-7 mailers from Obama. From Clinton? Zero).

I think Obama's plan is more realistic to get passed. You can't call it "socialized medicine" if people don't have to buy in to it.
