yes, I'm laughing out loud.

let's hope it's as simple as all that...

Monday, November 3, 2008 06:52 PM

Tom,

Tomorrow's good tidings...

Monday, November 3, 2008 07:28 PM

that's not a nap

that's a nightmare....!

may it never come true!

Monday, November 3, 2008 07:51 PM

It had to be a dream...

since Olbermann and Maddow in the second to last panel are praising the big Mc.

Dream on John. Here's hoping tomorrow will be a nightmare for you and the governor of Alaska.

A kind of think that if Obama wins

McCain will actually be dead by the end of the year. He had to be on straight meth the last 3 months to keep up the pace. A loss will crush him.

Monday, November 3, 2008 09:20 PM

Uh oh

The scary thing is, I can imagine some undecided voter reading this comic and suddenly being swayed to vote for McCain. Sillier things have worked.

Monday, November 3, 2008 09:45 PM

@Beagle of doom

Machaine has too many teeth in too good a shape to have been a meth head all this time. I think it was viagra to raise his already over the top testosterone levels in the hope tht Sarah would let him throw her his "Palin Bone"

(Tasteless, I know. But,...1) I simply couldn't resist, & 2) Machaine's machine has been turning out things even more tasteless than that for some time. Exactly the "cool as a CUCUMBER" I wish my president to evince.)

CAPTAIN QUEEG

I wanted to see him shuffling those ball-bearings as he awoke from his fantasy.....

Tuesday, November 4, 2008 05:53 AM

Back to your nap, John

Boy, yelling at those damn kids to keep off your lawn is exhausting. Plum tuckers one out, don't it?

Tuesday, November 4, 2008 06:11 AM

I think the Beagle has a point

Look, I don't wish ill for the guy, but I've been thinking of William Jennings Bryan after the Scopes trial. And John wouldn't have to be on some awful illegal stuff to keep zipping around, the doctors probably could have dosed the guy with all kinds of 'legal' stuff.

I've been wondering, has a presidential candidate ever died on the trail (aside from Robert Kennedy, of course)? Maybe back in the 1800s? Because it certainly has to be pretty stressful. The death of a campiagn manager in Nevada aa couple of days ago is a grim reminder of that.

He really didn't want it.

All he would have had to do is show Obama's "birth certificate" and point out that it matched the online template and that the word OAHU is one pixel higher than the word HONOLULU which is on the same line which indicates Photoshopping rather than word or document processing.

A manufactured document was presented as proof against a legitimate question and the source of that document is Obama according to Hawaiian officials after Obama's emergency trip to Hawaii.

Hawaii has about as much cred as Snopes.com or Fatcheck.org which is zilch.

It is only one pixel off - that is all it takes to indicate a forgery.

@somethingstinks . . . that nasty smell you keep complaining about?

It's the dogshit rotting in your cranial cavity. Perhaps a REALLY high colonic would help . . .

Tuesday, November 4, 2008 07:14 AM

Experience looking at official documents would help

@something stinks

Some typographer must have given you this argument. But, it's specious. I would suggest you not repeat it without reviewing other birth certificates from the early 60s in Oahu.

Just like the amazing accomplishments

of Pelosi, Reed, Murtha, etc. Obama is sure to inspire and please. Just kidding. He will be as big a disappointment to his supporters as the aforementioned "100 days" crusaders. If you have not figured out that the oligarchy runs the show by now, then you're just plain stupid. 700 billion dollars (so far) stupid. And remember the dems voted for that little pat-on-the-back to the bankers, just like the repubs.

The only real effect that BO may have is to shame the republicans into becoming a tiny bit more conservative, but not really enough to matter. I don't know why you loving, tolerant liberals seethe with so much hatred for Bush (or anyone/anything else for that matter - Doesn't that go against your central values of love/peace/tolerance... Ha, ha, never mind. Just ignore this parenthetical digression), after all, he presided over the most liberal government to date. Remember, the biggest entitlement program in many, many years is the Medicare drug program. You should love the guy. He has spent more of your tax dollars than just about anyone, and you know how liberals love the government spending programs.

Equality for all! Whether they actually deserve it or not. Two cars in every driveway, and a big screen TV in every living room! SPREAD THE WEALTH AROUND, BABY.

@robert lewis

I can always count on a liberal for my daily dose of profanity. Doesn't that strike you as odd? Does liberal=profane? Seems so. Just rile em up a little and out it comes. So civilized, so impressive. So adult.

Tuesday, November 4, 2008 09:09 AM

"Hawaii has about as much cred as Snopes.com or Fatcheck.org which is zilch."

Pot. Kettle. Kerning. You get the point.

Tuesday, November 4, 2008 09:17 AM

"...so much hatred for Bush"

Tell the straw man 'liberals' in your head to pipe down: it's interfering with your channeling of Krauthammer.

I know, you're going to miss Bush. Don't worry. I'm sure the GOP will nominate some clueless upper class twit again soon to give all the rest of us the finger as he unilaterally declares yet another illegal war to win an election or two.

We feel your pain.

Tuesday, November 4, 2008 09:42 AM

@Strangely Enough

The other thing liberals excel at is jumping to conclusions that support their biases. You assume that because I critique a democrat that I am somehow a supporter of republicans. If you do even the most cursory of research, you will find that I support neither, but then, that would not fit with your world view that anyone who disagrees with you is somehow your mortal enemy.

So much for the liberal credo. I have found the love/peace/tolerance line to be the biggest lie of all. The evidence that I have collected here and at other public forums is that liberals can be the most hateful, biased people I have ever encountered.

Spread the love, spread the wealth.

Remember Kathy Sierra.

Tuesday, November 4, 2008 09:54 AM

@ Poco

You say, "If you do even the most cursory of research, you will find that I support neither."

You're just not worth it. By your words one knows you. And your words say "Loser for McCain."

Your words also say, "Direct me to the fainting couch, please, these liberals are just too foul-mouthed for my delicate-as-a-flower psyche."

McCain's dream

McCain wakes up from his fevered dream, and come this evening our long national nightmare will be over. Well, just about...

Tuesday, November 4, 2008 03:56 PM

Gah.

I did not need this. I had this nightmare last night. Incredibly vivid.
