heehee

This comic is always one of the highlights of my week. It makes Mondays very, very fun days.

Karl Rove must hate America, look at his track record.

Karl Rove must hate America, look at his track record.

I Know That Karl's Supposed to Be An Agnostic BUT ...

As a lapsed Catholic, I sure as hell know a deathbed conversion when I see it.

No Flag Pin? Maybe he's going to support Obama?

Now who is the real conservative?

Monday, May 26, 2008 07:45 PM

How much better we'd all be

if only Sparky could sit in the White House press room.

Monday, May 26, 2008 07:46 PM

Shouldn't we be happier...

...that he's semi-defeatistly conceding this to the public, despite the forum? If we had our own noise machine...maybe we could call it a "logic machine"...we could beat the drum of how McCain's name-checking these issues came right after this screed on Faux News? Maybe, anyone, maybe?

"An aggressive agenda of reform" for the GOP

That's ludicrous. An incumbent cannot run on change; she/he must run on results and track record.

Monday, May 26, 2008 08:40 PM

Harp on it!

The point of the cartoon should be pounded on incessantly! Remind the voters of this fact constantly.

Monday, May 26, 2008 08:46 PM

The only thing funnier...

...is Rove lecturing the Democrats on what they have to do.

Pappy O'Daniel

Dialog from "Oh Brother where art thou" inevitably comes to mind:

----------------

(O'Daniel): We need a shot in the arm. Hear me, boys? In the goddam arm! Election held tomorrow, that sumbitch Stokes would win in a walk!

(O'Daniel's son): He's the reform candidate, Daddy. A lot of people like that reform. Maybe we should get us some.

(O'Daniel): I'll reform you, you soft-headed son of a bitch. How we gonna run reform? We're the damn incumbent! Is that the best you can come up with? Reform?! Weepin' Jesus on the cross.

A gross misrepresentation

How dare Mr. Tomorrow imply that the Republicans are now only pretneding to care about issues important to the American People!

The Republicans have been pretending to care about issues important to the American People for decades!

Actually, the Republicans have always cared about these issues, they just care differntly than you.

They care about national healthcare, for example, they care about how difficult it is for hard working insurerance companies to make a profit what with greedy patients always wanting more services, not to mention malpractice lawyers who rise to sue every time some one dies due to a little completely understandable negligence.

They cut taxes on the rich and cut services to the poor, because they feel it works.

They may be wrong...but goodness they belive it!

CHA-CHING !!!!

No matter how completely clueless, corrupt, incompetent, or morally bankrupt the Repuke Operative, there's always a high paying gig waiting for them over at Faux Nooz.....

Too funny........what a tool.....

An Answer to Spary the Penguin's Question

Sparky asked Karl Rove, "Do you really believe that some last-minute, transparently false commitment to 'reform' is going to make people forget who's been running this country for the past seven years?"

The answer to that is a "Yes" and it will work because the American people have the attention span and memory of a common housefly.

The memory of the average American goes back only as far as the previous week's episode of "Bread and Circuses," uh, excuse me, I meant "American Idol."

Tuesday, May 27, 2008 05:59 AM

Wow, I guess Lee Atwater's specter dropped in on ol' Karl...

"Or would you know," pursued the Ghost, "the weight and length of the strong coil you bear yourself? It was full as heavy and as long as this, seven Christmas Eves ago. You have laboured on it, since. It is a ponderous chain!"

Tuesday, May 27, 2008 06:11 AM

ACTUALLY...UM...YES

He does believe that people will accept a "born again" mantra about health care, yadda...yeah, whatver he wants thing. And here's the shocker part: Voters will buy it!

Time to Take Back America

If we are to save ourselves from becoming the Fouth Reich, we need to move on a criminal government that in no way resembles the one described for America in our Constitution and which has lost the affection and respect of the world's decent peoples.

.

In the past, it was the job of the opposition party to realign official misbehavior of rogue incumbents. Over the past seven years -- the past two with a majority of both houses of Congress -- the Democrats have not measured up to this responsibility.

.

One wonders if this springs from political cowardice or if the Democrats and the Republicans answer to the same masters. In either event, we cannot afford this treacherous behavior if the real America is to be anything more than a historical item that died in the early 21st Century.

.

What must be done now falls to the awareness, the decency and the action of the electorate. It is time for the people to save America or to witness its funeral.

It's no more disingenous than Obama-Ra the Sun God's mantra of "Change"

All problems in America are permanently intractable. There is no solution or fix for anything and there never will be. Health care will never be un-broken. Wages are going to drop off until they bring back indentured servitude. You will drink rust and toxic pollutants. Gas will be unaffordable. The great lie is that any candidate has even the interest let alone the will or the capacity to improve anything.

What good is power if you can't abuse it?

Tuesday, May 27, 2008 07:26 AM

Tomorrow Karl Rove may say.... (silly) Roves merry gang of goof-8-ball bad genus gonna discombobulate...

Maybe Tom0rrow? Perhaps today. We will eye witness it.

The open-minded liberal rural farmer are to blame. Why?

Because chickens get itchy lice and get bored. Overboard?

Yes. K.R.'s gang of thugs steal chicken eggs and kill hens.

Yes. K.R.'s gang are foul wet feathered goose ganders. err.

The vegetables farmers would rather train a dang rooster.

Roosters can't breed any neo-Cons. Do hens play to GOPS?

Og-wow. GOPS are a Ogdoad? A 8-drunks drunk on a 5th? Worst.

Deathbed conversion? Operating room conversion is more like it.

In the OR, you stand at least some chance of survival; on your deathbed, the end result is rarely in doubt. We all know what happens after the patient recovers from the surgery and the doctor gives the thumbs-up.

It's not just Karl Rove, either. I've also seen Newt Gingrich carrying the false flag of 'reform.' It's enough to have one reaching for the Jack Daniels.

ER,

I like "Obama-Ra the Sun God", but seriously, who pooped in your cereal this morning?

Tuesday, May 27, 2008 08:26 AM

Can we PLEASE

..have a daily panel of Sparky shaking a pundit by the necktie? That's what this country really needs.
