This Modern World

It's February 2009. Do you know where your ex-president is?

The letters thread is now closed.

Sorry, Folks

we'll never see Dubya working at Home Despot. They do very strict drug testing.

Wednesday, May 14, 2008 11:14 AM

Sigh Tomorrow should have chosen the 24/7 Home Depot in Hollywood which after 2am on weekends is a popular place for gay men

to meet and mingle in a clean safe place without drugs and alcohol.

Bush would love it, because it would be like his fraternity days.

I'm not being homophobic.

I'm gay, I know it's true. I've been there. LOL

@thatboy

True. :) As well, it's a shame we are all too civilized to considering reviving the British tradition of putting heads of heads-of-state on London Bridge (or in this case, the White House gate.)

@ deering

Why wait until January?

Tuesday, May 13, 2008 11:40 AM

Once President Bush Is Out of Office

I'd like to have a beer with him...

...SO I CAN POUR IT OVER HIS AND STICK THE BOTTLE STRAIGHT UP HIS ASS!!!

Tuesday, May 13, 2008 11:31 AM

After January, 2009...

...Bush shouldn't be allowed to show his face in public without being jeered and mocked.

Tuesday, May 13, 2008 10:54 AM

After W comes X

Don't much care where he is, just so he's gone! But forgotten? Not with a massively expensive and ill-conceived, unprovoked war, our national reputation in tatters, lawlessness rampant on almost every street, education and infrastructure decaying, the physical environment in disarray, the budget hopelessly out of whack from a few trillion in expenses that cannot be made up without a massive tax increase that will have many screaming for the Democrats' blood. Or wasn't that part of "the plan?" That is, get the nuts back into office in '12, then find a way to declare martial law, run the Bill of Rights out of town, and get SERIOUS about PERMANENT domination!!! As for dubya, maybe he'll just hide in his Dallas library, reading comic books.

February 2009

I know where I want to see my Ex-President in 2009 (along with the Dark Lord):

In the dock at the Hague on trial for war crimes!

If we're lucky, they'll cuff the wankers at President Obama's inaugural ceremony.

Tuesday, May 13, 2008 09:52 AM

The common man..

Yep, that's our Bush. Man of the people. Why, right now I want to have a beer with him.

Nope, nothing elitist of out of touch about him!

Tuesday, May 13, 2008 07:05 AM

The Democrats Investigate the Cheney/Bush Administration?

Yeah, right!

Those pussies let Ronald Reagan and Bush Sr. get away with murder and war crimes in Nicaragua. They turned a blind eye to the BCCI scandal.

And Nancy Pelosi took impeachment "off the table."

Will someone please tell this unapologetic Naderite how there's a difference between the Democrats and the Republicans? I'm not so sure there is when the Dems keep letting the Repukes get away with their crimes.

Tuesday, May 13, 2008 07:02 AM

Wichita is in Kansas......a red state..........

Kansas has been a votin' against it's own interests for years, which means they bought into almost all the Republican spin on most issues. Seems to this ol' cowboy, that those Jayhawkers would have picked him out in a New York minute and made him Governor/Mayer/Dictator.

Tuesday, May 13, 2008 06:50 AM

Actually, I think PetSmart would be more appropriate

because it would be more on his intellectual level, but this was very very good...

Tuesday, May 13, 2008 01:12 AM

unfortunately, the Shrub can not work at Wal-Mart, Target or Home Depot

Wal-Mart, Target and Home Depot are in business to make a profit and pore ole Shrub has never been able to show a profit in anything he has done

it is said that the Shrub lacks the ear lobes to even be a Ferengi female!

His Presidency

In a nutshell.

Monday, May 12, 2008 09:16 PM

This'll never happen...

...because unlike high-ranking officials of the Federal Government, Home Depot employees get screened for illegal drug use. Bush would also have to answer the 'how many times have you been arrested' question as a condition of his employment.

Monday, May 12, 2008 08:42 PM

I got stuck on the first panel

Just thinking about W turning states evidence tickled immensely. The rest was so-so but the first panel! Ah, bliss.

Monday, May 12, 2008 08:28 PM

Bring a host calamities down on the U.S.A.

That's George Bush and the Wal-mart way.

Monday, May 12, 2008 08:27 PM

He's leaving with a couple of hundred million in cold cash

And contacts and contracts worth several billion more. If you thought the Bush dynasty was wealthy and connected before, and if there's ever some forensic accountants smart enough to untangle it, you will see that the last 8 years made the extended Bush family one of the top 50 wealthiest fortunes in the US, ever. Bush's will be able to buy any election they are ever called upon to, for the next hundred years.

Monday, May 12, 2008 07:53 PM

Bush will never be investigated for anything

The attack on Iran is on, the ensuing blowback will ensure that mccain will win the 'election' over the prissy, non-bowling obama. One of first acts of office will be to pardon buhs and chtheney the undead.

Good cartoon though! The really funny part is the idea that buhs is capable of managing anything, that was hilarious!

Monday, May 12, 2008 07:44 PM

The Emperor has No clothes

I ADORE Tom Tomorrow, but this week's was kinda.. dumb.

Monday, May 12, 2008 07:32 PM

Look Closer -

It's Home DESPOT!

Great!

Monday, May 12, 2008 07:06 PM

D'oh!

I meant:

It's not Target.

It's Home Depot.

Monday, May 12, 2008 07:05 PM

Um, manoshandsoffate?

It's not Target.

It's Wal-Mart.

Monday, May 12, 2008 06:35 PM

Time and time again

Tom's on target.

Monday, May 12, 2008 06:29 PM

Truth be told. . .

I don't even think Walmart would hire him.
