A question for Clinton supporters
I've asked this many times before and been either ignored or given non-answers.
Since you can't pin any real ideas on HRC based on what she says, we'll have to go by her voting record. With this in mind please tell me the difference between Hillary and Rudy (or McCain for that matter).
Thank you.

@leo777
Hillary is a problem solver. That's what this country needs right now.
What problems has Hillary solved, exactly? So far as I can see, her only qualifications for the office are that she's related to a former president, and that she's spent six years in the Senate, desparately triangulating to set up her current run.
Don't get me wrong: if Hillary's the nominee, I'll vote for her. Hell, if Trogdor the Burninator is the Democratic nominee, I'll vote for him, too. I'm not sure what the advantage is, though, in nominating yet another super-cautious career hack with high negatives and nothing new to say. Can't we do better?

@Stevo23
Spot on. People can vote for Hillary because they agree with her politics, but it's nuts to just vote for her because you think she's the one most likely to beat the republican nominee. The latest polling data paints the opposite picture, with Edwards performing the strongest, then Obama, and then Clinton. I don't agree with most of her politics, but I would vote for her if I thought she had the strongest shot at winning the presidency. But combining her politics with her national unpopularity, and I don't see any reason to support her.

Ron Paul? Better have a lawyer on retainer
Futhark your logic is priceless. If Ron Paul is elected he will restore the Constitution, the only caveat is that there will be a Bush appointed judge standing in your way. As for Hillary that would be the next question I would ask. Suppose you could appoint two judges to the Supreme Court. (Bet she says it would be someone fair and balanced. Bet I pull the lever for someone Green)

The myth of Hillary
This cartoon sums up nicely why I am against Hillary. I will of course vote for her should she win the primary. But even if I liked her as a leader, I would be against her for tactical reasons. Here is the summary from
http://www.pollingreport.com/wh08gen.htm
For head-to-head matchups on popular vote:
Hillary: 48-54% depending on opponent
Obama: 46-55% depending on opponent
Edwards: 53-60% depending on opponent
Obviously electoral vote analysis would be more meaningful, but when you factor in Republican fraud and the attack machine, we need the biggest margin of error we can get. The numbers above are +/- 3% by the way, which means Hillary could range 51-57% and Edwards could range 50-57% but the chances of that are quite small (much much less than 1%).
Finally, I have recently switched from Obama to Edwards based on the Iowa debate. Edwards is the only candidate that seems like he understands the core message of Krugman's most recent book, and he seems to have improved his rhetoric substantially since the early season (two Americas... blah blah blah).

Why Are the Democrats LIKE That?
No, I don't actually know, either, but I do know how to find out.
You've got to get politically active. Like, IN the Democratic Party. It's easy enough - show up for Party meetings, volunteer to become a precinct chair. There won't be much competition.
Seriously. I've been a member of a number of volunteer organizations over the last several years, and there's NEVER any competition. A few hard-working souls carry the organization. Probably EVERY organization. If you come in and you're willing to help, you're in, brother (or sister). I've done it, and if a misanthropic lazy ass such as myself can rise to the top, you ambitious young fellows at your keyboards can, too.
Inside the organization, you get a different view of things. You start getting into a position to not only influence policy and practice, you get to see how decisions are made and why. Many of the reasons are not good - and you can put in your two cents. After all, you're one of them, part of the organization, somebody who gets out and works for the Party. They'll listen to you, as they wouldn't to Jo Civilian, waving her sign on the street corner.
Do it. Please. The Democratic Party is in desperate need of new blood. (I think the Republican Party is DOA, on the other hand. Eventually, the zombie that remains will be put out of its misery.)

3 rhetorical questions
With answers for the first 2, just in case they are tough.
1. Do you think this is a good time to pick a non-middle of the road candidate?
Ans: Yes
2. Why is that?
Ans: Bush, Republicans
3. Should Democrats pick a candidate who is close to Bush/Republicans in ideology or further away (with regards to policy, and Senate voting record, if available), given 1 & 2?
Keep it simple folks.

FYI Hattie
Edwards beats all GOP candidates in polling and Clinton does not.
Also, Clinton is losing to Obama in Iowa by 9 points.
So why don't YOU go ahead a support a loser who is hated by her opponents and her own party's base more than any other Democratic contender.

The Hillary Campaign
Can you feel the Joementum????

This Modern World/The Trouble with Hillary
Ballbuster, bombastic, bitch, castrating, cold, communist, feminazi, devil, demon, lesbian, satan, slut, weak, witch, whore. That doesn't even begin to cover all the mud-slinging Hillary Clinton has had to endure. She's been called more names than practically any politician in history. Even if you don't like her, even if you disagree with her, even if you aren't going to vote for her, don't you find all this just a little off-putting? I'm beginning to wonder if a sympathy vote for all this invective that's been piled on her is going to kick in.

Hillary Clinton cannot win
The reason is simple.
You see, Hillary Clinton is very politically savvy, but along with that savvy, she just isn't smart.
Lets take a look at Hillary on Computer Games, specifically, two examples, Grand Theft Auto San Andreas and Manhunt 2.
In the former, Hillary Clinton was arguing that parents of impressionable children weren't getting suffecient warning that the game might just not be suitable for young audiences. Note the game's name.
Not only that, she was arguing that what made this game, which is about voilent car theft, killing cops, assassinating people in general and pimping the odd prostitute, objectionable is that a minigame called "Hot Coffee" made it into the game where you can have some badly rendered consentual sex.
Now, the other example is Manhunt 2. Banned in Europe, generally viewed as being morally repugnant, the developer of this game was forced to cut some of the worst bits out just to make possible to sell it in America. It still has a strong M rating with good reason.
Now it isn't that this game is violently anti-social or anything that really scared Hillary, no it is that the Wii version of it, what with those motion sensitive controls, was training kids to be little assassins.
We can only hope little Jimmy is nowhere near a real sword after playing the legend of Zelda. Any Star Wars games could be a problem too.
Now the thing of it is, this is the sort of news the otherwise uninformed young voter is going to see. They aren't watching the news they are going to games review sites to see what sort of game they want to buy, and when they see this sort of thing it puts them off of Hillary entirely.
