Great.
Nightmares for a month.
-
I agree
It's the scariest thing I can think of, too. And if Bush manages to get us into a nuke-u-lar war, we will all be ghosties then.
-
Damn, I was going to use that costume...
and now I have to think of a new one. The Torquemada in drag ala Rudy maybe? Shit, no time to get it right.
-
No, no, you've got it backwards...
...Halloween is only for imaginary monsters. The real ones scare us the other 364 days of the year.
-
the OPUS dog
come on, Tom is lining up the ducks in a row. all of them.
-
the dog is an ordinary american?
...maybe 1 of 2 ordinary americans. however low his approval ratings are, a sizable chunk of the american populace (and maybe more of the american electorate) aren't scared of Bush and his hobgoblins and don't have a problem with the way things have gone the last few years. Either they side with the crooks, or they are simply too fat and lazy to care. These people are scariest of all.
on the other hand, Sparky's costume is cool. I'd give him lots of candy for fear he'd take a crap in my yard...just like Bush and Co have ... oh, you know.
-
It's obvious. A all agree? It's depravity.
Nothing against frog or mouse mask- But oh. Ah. I agree.
A mouse and a frog meet every morning at the NSA Potomac Riverbank.
They sit and squeak, and hop about. A many a bad dog howls and barks in the cold fall night.
Each day an increase of depravity we/me/you see. Lies, and secret bad dreams, and know the politico's are empty, void of integrity, and we should be full of great suspicions. I am beginning to understand a bit better, the word, depravity. Thanks Tom Tomorrow.
They are the scariest as they need to take off the mask, and we do see 'um clearly.
O, What Depravity!

My costume
I am going to hang some roadkill over my head with little eye-holes and go out trick-or-treating as 'America'.

Halloween smacks of religion
And as good Salon liberals in fully paid up status, we cannot permit such invisible angry man in the skyism to exist. I'm sorry but you should be wearing Che t-shirts and throwing eggs at those bourgeoisie losers.
-
Coulda, woulda, shoulda . . .
For Hallowe'en 2000, I came up with a fantastic idea: I would wear green sweats, strap fake greenery onto the sweats, and decorate the whole thing with a construction-paper chain.
When asked what the hell I was supposed to be, I would explain that I was a Bush-Cheney, the scariest thing ever.
I didn't bother. And then, the horror: as it turned out, an outright win by these two jokers wasn't the worst case. A successful theft of the presidency was far worse, and the interference of the Supreme Court set a chilling precedent.
Get out there, folks! Dress up as a shredded Constitution, an abandoned sense of honor, or your favorite Orwell character. Don't miss the chance to make a statement while enjoying the debauchery.

Scary!
Scarier than The Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man where he has to listen to the sermon about Hell, because in this case a simple cartoon sums up so many years of TRUTH.
-
Ironic Comic
Considering the Associated Press just had a story of the scariest halloween costume.
Clinton, Giuliani top picks for costumes

Ah, Halloween!
This year I'll just wear a dark suit and go out with my pants down around my ankles as a member of the GOP Congressional Family Values Caucus.

"Halloween smacks of religion

Your one note stupidity just grows more tiresome with every pathetic screed you post. Halloween predates Christianity, & has little to do with what we now consider religion. Perhaps if you spent time actually reading about history rather than lobbing lame retorts at intelligent people you might actually learn something.
By the way, the nonstop references to a Che t-shirt is especially tiresome, but then like most non liberals, you obviously don't have the intelligence to come up with anything new, for that would require thought & you removing your head from your ass, which as your being non liberal I do understand is an impossibilty for you.
On a better note; a great & sadly true cartoon.

love it
Article in the local paper about the guy who won the Beale St. costume contest in Memphis. He went as the burning of Court Square, in which the historic First Methodist Church was destroyed. His friend and ally went as an orange police barrel warning people away from the fire.
But yours is still scarier!
-
Now if only the front would stop licking it
"the dog is an ordinary american? ...maybe 1 of 2 ordinary americans. however low his approval ratings are, a sizable chunk of the American populace"
More like one 1 of 3, which would pretty much make up the dog's ass end.

Bluesman Mark
There is nothing cuter than an indignant liberal furious about some trivial bullshit thing. You're why we have zoos. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to slap another coat of paper mâché on that giant head puppet we're taking to the protest against people who don't protest with sufficient fervor.
Workers! Throw down your tools!
-
Now, this here is my penguin!
Sparky's king of all cartoon penguins. Opus is kibble for the stupid.

I've been to a few zoos, & I must say that I've yet to see any animal in one as stupid as a typical conservative or libertarian, so I do appreciate the compliment. As to liberals being why we have zoos, well conservatives are why incest is illegal.
BTW, what kind of a name, (handle, etc.), is "(~~~~)"?
Are you afraid to use any part of your actual name? Or are you mad that "Anonymous" was already taken?
I can wait patiently while you struggle to get your head out of your ass to answer. I know it takes a while.

Bluesman
The symbol that this moron, or morons, uses is the "Tilde" (pronounced Till Day) which is located at the top key, upper case, far left of your keyboard. It is used in the Spanish language.
But which "Tilde Man" it may be requires that you count the number of consecutive tilde's this/these idiots typed when they signed on.
