Ballad of a Neocon

Not one of TT's best strips, but I love the nod to the original "Batman" origin story in the third panel!

Huh?

What is it with the self-obsessed morons who have decided that battling over Tom Tomorrow content is actually important? Seriously, go plant a tree or make love or see a therapist or just STFU you silly little bitches. If the best you got is to fight over TT, you ain't got nothin'.

Wonderfully Acerbic As Usual

I love the way TT exposes the hypocrisy of the neocon-artists who are responsible for foisting this "war in error" upon us and the world.

"I have always felt a kinship for the plucky people of Iraq."

Sure. Rumsfeld shakes hands with Saddam in 1983 as diplomatic envoy for Reagan/Bush and ignores the fact that Saddam had already used chemical weapons on people 20 times. Why? Two reasons, basically.

1) Because the people he was killing with those weapons were Iranians, and we didn't care about them because those bastards had held U.S. hostages for 444 days; and,

2) We had the receipts for the weapons. (A large portion of them were sold to Saddam by U.S. corporations under licenses granted by the U.S. Department of Commerce.)

Then there's the little issue of Bush pere and his defense secretary (some guy named Cheney) giving the green light to Saddam to put down an uprising in southern Iraq after the first Gulf War.

Here's what reality tells us is the true motivation for the neocons:

"I have always felt a kinship for the plucky people who trade in oil futures."

TT is not "fair and balanced"

and that's why i read it.

Thanks, TT, for bringing a smile to my day. Again.
