woah. I'm in the same bloc.

... only because Opus didn't bring up the cloaca bit.

anyway, let's go ESPBPPPGPSSWCRTFBPNFFFFs.

Yes, but...

... is Opus left-handed?

Saturday, June 14, 2008 09:30 PM

Lefties

Both McCain and Obama are left handed.

Saturday, June 14, 2008 09:49 PM

Lefties, south paws? Nothing new.

Just think back a few elections ago--- Bush, Sr., Clinton and Perot were all left handed.

So am I, my ex and our darling granddaughter.

We ARE the future, mofos. Get used to it!

Sunday, June 15, 2008 03:06 AM

leftie-rightie, ho hum

Having been raised in the south among southern Democrats, I know individuals from all of those categories. And you know what has happened to them? They are now Republicans.

Another Nixon Joke on Us

Wasn't it under Nixon that the balkanization of Americans started? Maybe that's why he was smiling.

Yo! Blue Amberol

Other than occasional signal loss due to storms, any other problems with satellite internet service that I should know about? My dialup is like pushing a scooter down an Interstate Highway. . . .

Internet

So much for strict capitalism, supply and demand and let the market decide.

Sunday, June 15, 2008 07:28 AM

Left/righr

If Obama were left-handed and McCain were not, the Republican media would have a field day with it, pointing out that most terrorists are left-handed (whether it's true or not), etc.

It's great here on the left...

Reagan was a natural leftie, too--though he became ambidextrous. That means four of the last five Presidents were lefties; only the current horrorshow is not. We'll have another lefthander now, regardless of which guy wins. We lefthanders are very proud.

(Of course, Osama ben Laden is lefthanded, too...)

Sunday, June 15, 2008 08:20 AM

here on the left, addendum...

I neglected to mention Ford--the fourth leftie Prez--and omitted Carter. So make that count four of the last six. Still, we're doing pretty well.

Well, not quite that ...

... strange. My wife would agree with the flatulent part, however, & would recommend me for the Hall of Shame.

I'm originally a Hoosier, now, New Mexican.

NO clubs in High School; Quite a truancy record my sophomore year.

I enlisted in the U.S. Army the day after graduation. I was raised by many men and a few women (two) who served in the Army or Navy or WACS during WW II.

One of my aunts lost a fiancee over France in a B-17 raid.

One distant cousin was at Pearl Harbor when attacked, and was "never the same."

Another boyfriend of an aunt was killed at Iwo Jima.

One uncle who died two weeks ago was in the Aluetians & at Okinawa.

One uncle was on a Destroyer, was swept overboard, and luckily, snatched up by a following ship. He later died in a railroad accident.

My Dad was at the Hurtgen Forest, Aachen, the Battle of The Bulge (St. Vith), liberated Ordruf Concentration Camp, & was shipped to the Philippines prior to the invasion of Japan. The same was true for three or four other uncles and/or cousins, who were going to invade Japan when The Bomb stopped that. All that side are Irish Catholic Blue Collar. All the other are Protestant blue collar or farmers.

I'm 70% disabled combat Infantry veteran from Vietnam (I volunteered for combat and the infantry). I have a Purple Heart, gunshot wound, malaria, after effects of that, & PTSD.

Have a bachelors & Masters. Was a Civil Servant for 24 years, am a writer, historian.

I've voted Democrat since 1968, but no more. I'm now an Independent.

I don't favor Obama. He's a charlatan.

Until the media discloses the full story on his 1981 trip to Pakistan, &/or, HE green lights his four Pakistani friends to speak freely about the trip, I'd never vote for him. It appears the media has run up against a brick wall on more details of this trip, & subsequent trip to Kenya. He's dishonest but no one gives a damn. Big deal! He's the one who claims he's differnt!

The media are enthralled with him. Senator Clinton is the obvious choice for moderate Democrats. I'll write her name in, rather than vote for Obama.

I've heard, lately, that women should be scared to death of McCain and the Court appointments he'll make. I agree. Sadly, the general state of young Obamista women shows they've relinquished some of the hard won prizes their elders fought for over the last thirty years. Misogyny seems alive & well in many films, TV, the Internet, & certainly, how women are disparaged in music.

If Ron Paul jump starts the Libertarians, I'd hope Senator Cllinton, or her followers, start a Center Democrats Party. The time for coalition government has arrived. I'll support coalition government from now on.

It will be ironic if Obamistas, who've not had anything demanded of them, elect him, & see a general collapse of foreign policy in: Lebanon; Syria; Iraq; Iran; Afghanistan; Pakistan, if Obama pulls out quickly from Iraq. It won't matter what he wants to do in the Middle East. Leaders will wait until the withdrawal from Iraq is in full swing before they cut their own deals with him. If Pakistan slides into an Islamic state with teeth, we've got real trouble. He is too inexperienced. He'll be a catastrophe. Ultra LIberal Democrats don't win for a reason.

I'm no Republican. But, no longer see myself as Democrat, either.

There are millions of us. If we call for a real dialogue on race, to include the racism epitomized by Fr. Pfleger and Rev. Wright, we're called racists. There can't be a legitimate dialogue on race until that stops. Racism works in many ways. Classism is repugnant & worsening. By the way, I was against the Vietnam War in summer, 1967, and was against this war in 2002!! However, I don't think Senator Clinton, was Satan, for her vote to allow Bush to do what he did. I look at what she's done since.

For now, I just don't feel like bending to celebritology.

google: "Obama discloses 1981 Pakistan trip." Run through the first 100 hits. There ARE questions which need answered. The answers may be innocuous. But why would it be like pulling teeth to know the answers?

He does want to be President, after all.

Barrack Obama, The Democrats Political Charlatan.

Political charlatan, Barrack Obama, has convinced his robotic followers that Obama can meet with Ahmejinedad without precondition; and, that the Iranian leader will experience an Obama epiphany and conversion to righteousness; and, "There Will Be Peace In Our Time". This is the very same Neville Obama who, because he frequently babbles incoherently when attempting to speak without a prepared text, is terrified of being exposed by meeting John McCain in a simple Town-Hall Forum. God help us if the majority of Americans are beguiled by this novice circus comic, who has never before performed under the "Big Tent"; and, the peddling of his "Magic Elixir " that Obama claims will "Heal The Planet".
