Some serious questions raised by this cartoon
Great strip! Could someone point me to earlier strips of BB's commentary on GW Bush, in particular, his chest-thumping 'Mission Accomplished!' speech and his famous massage-attack on Angela Merkel? It would be wonderful if Salon could provide links to all previous BB cartoons - maybe this is already available, let me check it out. But the cartoon does raise some serious questions:
Given his whole history since since his fairly well-documented tilts at the oil business (and even earlier, when he was at Yale, etc}, it is clear that GW Bush is an utter fool, an incompetent, a psychopath murderer (remember the 152 people he sent to the executions chambers when he was Governor of the Lone Star State); a liar to his very bones; and now, a proven war-criminal.
My questions: Given all of the above, how come the man is still around in public life and not in prison or in a very secure pyschiatric ward? How come you US citizens still have him as your leader? How come you have not moved properly against this 'mini-monster and his criminal gang of proven thieves and scoundrels who have led your nation to international disgrace? In my view, GW Bush is not more worthy of being a national leader than was Adolf Hitler, Pol Pot and such other monsters. It is only because the US is at least a nominal democracy and does apparently possess some redeeming values that it has not become the 21st Century's Nazi Power Centre of the world. Under GW Bush, there is every danger of this happening. So how come you citizens do not move effectively against him? Are you guys crazy, or what, that you do not see the danger the world is in? (These questions are not merely rhetorical - I really would like to understand US citizens better!)
Heartfelt request: Do please make some real efforts to throw this loathsome creature out of power and into jail - or be adjudged of complicity in his crimes!
