"Only what you bring in with you, young padawan."
She got nothin'. Jill and Steve will be quickly cooling corpses in the next installment. And I think Ms. Lay is being sadistic in dragging out this dance with death this long.
I hope you are not writing a spoiler up there.
This, for some reason, reminds me of the final installment of KoF, which ended with that "secret of the Universe" cliffhanger.
I know it's kind of an insult to compare anything to KoF, but I don't mean it to be one. Carol Lay has already proved herself to be an interesting and capable story teller, so I'm willing to follow where she leads on this one.
Well, this plot line just got interesting....

These are worse than soap operas. About a half an event occurs every two weeks. The comparison to Kansas O'Flaherty is apt.
And: learn to draw a mouth.
If anyone, anywhere ever had a single doubt of WayLay's credentials as a draftsperson of craft and deftness ...
Just lokk again at that last , dark, perfect comix frame of this installment.
Carol Lay is a very special cartoonist and storyteller.
That frame, in origional belongs in the Tate or the Whitney or Walker- it goes beyond the cartoon museum standards.
