Amen, sister!
So the best way to choose guys is based on their smell and physical attractiveness, right?
{But if/when men dare to use physical attractiveness as one criterion for choosing a girl - well then, they are being superficial, shallow, sexist, objectifying pigs!)

Delicious pun in the title of the strip.
As to her dilemma, she should try to forgive herself. As Dean Martin once sang: "Everybody loves a zombie, sometime..."

@ Marianne Trench
Actually, I ("whiny men's rights supporter) loved today's trip - and had a good laugh over the ending. [Tim Burton would approve]
But I couldn't help but notice that if Carol wrote the same exact tale - but with the genders reversed - every feminist who read it would savagely criticize it/Carol for its 'sexist/misogynist/shallow' message. That's the hypocrisy I am alluding to.
My point is that the comic is funny, and would/should stay that way regardless of the protagonist's gender. It's okay to want to date someone (partly/mostly) because you think they are beautiful/handsome, people. You're not shallow for doing so - even if you are a straight man!

Those delicious brains of hers. BRAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNZ.
