art walks

Used to love the Friday openings in Santa Fe. Same kind of scene. Don't really have anything to say, but you deserve some sort of response for such a funny and clever piece.

'found' art rocks-keep us posted

Your 'found' "outsider" whatever art sounds great. As I write, I am looking at three amazing pieces I bought on the street 10+ years ago. Tempera on Cardboard, likely some kind of art therapy. And yet, and yet, the feline Madonna and child in bathing suits are still speaking to me all this time later.

Oh, and my hubby is a painter. Who understands my attraction to this strangeness. I have had more fun with other people's comments on these.

Do us a favor-revisit this after you've gotten feedback on your treasure!

Oh-and thanks for the tips on schmoozing a pretentious local art scene. Gotta try that. Maybe just wrap up one of hubby's pieces for show. We'll letcha know how THAT works out.

You rock!
