To Keith .Knight. Good Morning.

My concern is you went way beyond. The Salon censure committee need to convene.

It's a vegan sin to say cleavage. This is not a eternal perdition innocent little comic strip?

The readers are probably shocked as I am? I hope they're reeling with blushes. Cleavage?

This is no small trifle. What profligacy! You draw with a unrestrainedness about cleavage!

Please keep the sensual comic drawings out of sight.

This comic has a potential possibility to stir hormones.

I love your drawings. Please be more tame. Aphrodite.

OMG! They still publish that?

I thought it went out in the 70's!!? I think I still have the "Love is..." card I got for my 6th birthday in a drawer somewhere...

re prepubescent pubes, see the recent Broadsheet article about 6-year-olds getting bikini waxes in spas!

The "Love Is" that never was

Years ago I worked for a newspaper that ran "Love Is." I always wanted to wait for the proper image and then substitute the caption: "...taking turns sleeping on the wet spot." But I knew it was a firing offense so I chickened out.
