Christ is the way
Why bother with pics - we can get graphic visuals about what murder does (and conduct virtual bloody murder) with countless games out there. So it's not like anyone hasn't a clue what goes on. (Hey, I think it's fantastic that we've got video games in which we're the stars and the cast instead of the tokens, but at the same time those games are... hmmm... yeah - a bit uninspiring.)
What can the government do? Well, just look what's been done so far.
Personally, I think Christ's the only way out for us. He's the only thing that really makes someone want to forgive instead of take revenge, and to be humble instead of proud. (In secular terms, the whole 'cycle of violence.')
