a great strip from Keef...but a lot of people probably aren't gonna like it. I guess the truth often hurts...but anyway, great concept and execution.

That one left an unpleasant chill up my spine - not only the abuse and (implied)rape references (which was bad enough), but the fact it could pretty much be applied to most every administration since the CIA was formed. Jules Feiffer would be proud of you, Keef.

Were just talking about this!
Her sister works with battered women.
The sad thing is that she will probably get rid of 'Sam' and go running right into the arms of some other asshole that'll woo her and then kick her around.

What the bottle says is "Surge aka Viagra" and you can clearly see that if you look at it upside down. Hence the implied rape connotations from the author of the subsequent letter.
What I'd like to know is what's in that bottle of hooch in the first panel. Something 40 (maybe a 40-Ouncer, or more bizarrely WD-40)???

The 'illegible' word underneath/above aka says Viagra. Maybe y'all figured that out already. If not, it buffers the metaphor. Have a nice day.
