Five minutes later

And I'm still laughing.

Bravo!

Now that is what I call cartooning!

Is "cartoon" a verb?

ah, who cares. Nice job!

Wednesday, May 7, 2008 06:46 PM

It's all good

I'm sure Nate's neighbor will have no problem paying for the game room for Nate. I hear he's got tons of money buried under his yard.

Wednesday, May 7, 2008 06:52 PM

the neighbor's name?

Pity we don't learn what Nate's neighbor is named. He looks like an "Ira" to me.

Perfection

Oh god my sides hurt! The mindset of Paul Wolfowitz summed up in nine panels. Just brilliant!

Wednesday, May 7, 2008 09:42 PM

Brilliant

That's all I can say.

Don't be givin' folks ideas...

Here I sit, enjoying my morning brew, and my own neighbor is snooping around my yard. You don't suppose...

Great cartoon, best of the year thus far!

The part I liked the best was....

When Ruben B. showed How dare Nate the neoconservative with no teeth to lie through his bloody lips!

Nate blamed a box of peanut cracker jacks and a kick in the moth from the GOP podiatrist.

Nate needs a kiss.

Bolling gives smacks.

Rueben B.'s kisses dislodge gold fillings.

The GOP dentist will have a bloody yard sale.

Thursday, May 8, 2008 05:33 AM

Yep, J T, he's an Ira . . .

. . . and I believe the last name begins with a Q.

Another spot-on Bolling moment to fuel my Thursday. Sweet!

Thursday, May 8, 2008 06:05 AM

Nate should have called it the GZ

Game zone!

Thursday, May 8, 2008 07:33 AM

Beautiful

That was one of the best political cartoons I've seen in a long time. Well done!

Thursday, May 8, 2008 09:29 AM

"Sigh!"

An excellent comic indeed, but somehow it's just not a complete "Nate the Neoconservative" experience for me if he doesn't give his condescending "Sigh!" at some point.

Thursday, May 8, 2008 11:04 AM

Perfect

This made my day. You rock, Ruben!

Thursday, May 8, 2008 01:02 PM

Epilogue

I think Nate will pay for the game room by robbing his kid's college fund. Incidentally, he'll have to knock down some of Ira's house to make room.

When Nate's wife wants to know what the hell he's doing over there, he'll ask her why she let Ira's dog in.

Thursday, May 8, 2008 10:28 PM

LATER THAT DAY.....

.....next we see Nate threatening the neighbors in the adjacent yards.....

Cartoonist of the century award

I would nominate you Ruben Bolling. I don't know anyone else who can reduce a portrait of idiocy into such a small space and still make it funny.
