Super Fun Pack Joy!
This comic is the best thing that has happened to me all week (it's been a rough week).
BTW, the food thing isn't a joke. Years ago I worked as a waiter at a very nice restaurant and we would recycle bread all the time. Also, if they serve appetizer bread and also have homemade bread pudding on the menu, you can bet that your bread pudding is in its second or third incarnation.
Still, working in a restaurant doesn't turn you off to restaurants, it just gives you a more nuanced view of "dirty".

These are great gifts for restaurateurs.
A soon as the nest of a Minni Mouse is gone and she has finished raising her mice in the Dell Printer...I'll sure duplicate these food topics and laminate them.
I once gave a West Virginian hot dog-push-vendor a laminated cartoon I cut from some Eurekamagazine or 'The New Yorker'. The sketch was a city vendor selling chocolate dipped white cauliflower on a popsicle stick. He scotch-taped the sketch to his hot-dog push cart-cycle. He'd have made a billion if he sold chocolate covered mescalin mix with a few nasturtium flowers on top.
The vendor was planning to make a few millions and then buy a mule and return to what he loved most. non-blog-farming. He loved outdoor earth, colorful flowers, and peace and quiet.

Epic!
I don't think I've laughed so much at anything this week as I did at "the Evolution of Animal Neckwear." The sad thing about is, I remember almost all of those tie-clad characters. Brutal!
-
joke ripoff?
careful ruben.
the restaurant joke was done by "mr. show" years ago.

I actually want restaurants to 're-gift' food I've left on my table
It depresses me when they give me a half-cup of butter with my basket of bread, and I leave it behind. At least use it to cook with or something.
-
They're Grrrrrreat!
Super-Fun-Pak Comix are great! The Evolution of Animal Neckwear is the best! We love the dog that looks like Huckleberry Hound the most! Hooray for Ruben!!! Hooray for Super-Fun-Pack Comix!!!

Epic / Brutal Report (Update)
"Today I read 'Tom the Dancing Bug!'"

"But on Tuesday, I read 'Kansas O'Flaherty, Secret Agent.'"
"BRUTAL!!!"

Note to The Professor
At a restaurant where I worked, the cook wanted ALL the used butter from the tables, he used it in cooking and it was a win-win since the hot temps hopefully fried any critters deposited by sneezing patrons.
He also took uneaten french bread from the tables, and cut it up and baked it into croutons. Gulp!

I don't remember seeing Comics for the Elderly before, but it rocks.

I Love Super-Fun-Pak Comix!
I Love Super-Fun-Pak Comix! And Tom the Dancing Bug in general. Just wanted to share. The best cartoon on Salon by miles.

Good one Glennski
SFPComics rocks, as always. I want to be a muleskinner.
-
My favorite comic
Endlessly creative, nearly ALWAYS funny...
Tom the Dancing Bug just can't be beat.
-
I want more comics for the elderly!
If only all them young whippersnappers would get real jobs like the old days! And whatever happened to Lawrence Welk?, and why can't you get diner meals for a nickel anymore? And why do all these kids listen to that noise and call it music? And...
