moral insult to baseball
Dear lord. A moral insult to baseball. P-lease. Can we leave measures of morality out of the world of sports? Baseball = a game (perhaps even, an unkind person might point out, a game designed to keep the mobile vulgus distracted and goofy, rather than engaged in issues of life/death significance). While the baseball may be something enjoyable to discuss over brewskies with my buddies, I leave questions of morality and immorality to the pandemic AIDS crisis, the refugee emergencies ignored in the press, and the "best war ever."
