the sad thing is that in "pundit world" this is exactly the way it works. I am not quite sure how it can be so, but it is.
It's all because of balance. Since the facts and truth have a well-known liberal bias, liberal (eg. correct) pundits must be balanced with conservative (eg. consistently wrong) pundits. To eliminate all of the wildly inaccurate political prognosticators would leave editorial pages with nothing but fact-based unbalanced editorialists!
most of those conservative pundits inject God into their prognostications; the Weatherman here failed to illuminate this vital aspect of their great Wisdom.
thus the pundit could say- acc. to the message the Deity gave me last night, i am sure it will be sunny tomorrow, etc.
librals (sic) just don't understand how important Jesus is for those souls stuck in the red states and their brethren.
e.g. - by god, iraq will be free of Saddam and there will be purple fingers in the air.
and- god will strike down a supreme court justice so that baby-killing can be stopped.
try to get this in the next cartoon, will ya....
A beautiful blonde does our weather, she is almost never right, and she doesn't have any idea what a Neo-conservative is.
