  there is little evidence that Bush was re-elected in 2004 by right-wing evangelicals turning out to vote for him. You conveniently forget that many soccer moms chose bush again, albeit holding their noses, because they were afraid...yes, afraid. The old "scare-em-with-yet-another-boogie-man strategy worked just fine again for the Republicans in 2004.

  Obama's speech in Philadelphia was yet another con job by him and his campaign. Cold, calculated and the use of a little misdirection is what I recall most about it. He said he could not break with his Pastor, yet the reality is that he already had broke with him as far back as the night before he announced he was running for President, and called and told Wright he could not be at his announcement.

  To the listener who did not already know that Obama had already thrown Wright under the bus, that speech probably brought tears to their eyes. I know it choked up CNN, and other so much, they never bothered to vet this story fully before they started handing out Obama Martyr Coats, complete with Chip-On-The-Shoulder inserts.

  In December Obama was being asked about Wright and he chose to ignore it, proably hoping it would go away long enough for him to hi-jack the Democratic nomination by early March. Obama's campaign wasn't designed to go the distance. It was clearly a Field of Dreams strategy, "If we win it, they will come." Well, they didn't come for Kerry, and they won't be coming for Obama in November either. Hasn't the left-wing figured out that leftie elitist candidates don't win General Elections no matter what color they are?

  Yeah, Obama has a God problem okay. And Wright sufacing now is nothing more than his way of throwing Obama under the bus. Can you say payback is a bitch?
