  • Oh, Get Off It!

[Read the article: Hillary Clinton's long strange journey on Iraq]

"...there's still a decent chance he'll get his way to lead us into the 100-year occupation he's ready for, at least partly because of the bitter battle between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton."

So because the Democratic Primary continues, John McCain will be successful in keeping us in Iraq for 100 years? It's all our fault as Democrats - again? Do you make this crap up or what?

    You wish...you wish...you wish...

Hillary Clinton was vested with the sole responsibility 5 years ago to stand up to Bush, or stand up to him a year later, or year later after that year. What the hell is wrong is people like you?

Barack Obama wasn't standing up to Bush. Is that what you think because he could sit in a Democratic-controlled state legislature where nobody has any responsibility for anything outside the state line of Illinois? You're thinking is warped.

You would vote for either of them? REALLY? I wouldn't - and I won't. Hillary Clinton, warts and all, is the real deal. Obama is an upstart wannabe who has nothing of any real substance to back up his so-called positions, and has been intellectually dishonest every step of the way.

DO YOU REALLY THINK OBAMA WOULD HAVE MADE THAT NICE SPEECH ABOUT RACE THE OTHER DAY IF HE HAD NOT BEEN FORCED TO? Hell no.

  • Remember ...

that "ours is not the Author of confusion, but the Author of peace." And faith is simply the assurance of things not yet seen.It seems that when it came to your son you had faith all along. You are a good Mother - a kind, caring, persistent Mother who would move mountains if you could to give your son what the rest of us take for granted. Be kind to yourself and remember to live for your other children too.

  • HEY WHIZ KIDS!

[Read the article: Politico: "Clinton has virtually no chance of winning"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Getting the majority of delegates' support either through a combination of the primaries one-vote-one-person or caucuses or through the accummulation of the superdelegates' votes is called WINNING! And what exactly is it about WINNING this way that you don't understand?

If HRC gets the majority of delegates through the superdelegates then THAT IS WINNING - NOT VIRTUALLY, OR ANY OTHER "lly." And there is no reason why the superdelegates should not support her.

You and everyone else act like the superdelegates are just marshmallow fluff or something, when many of them are elected officials from our Party who have been fighting the warped GOP policies that have ruined our states and countries. They, of all people, understand what needs to be done and how fast it needs to start happening. Their judgment should weigh in on this matter.

Barack Obama has fouled our Party with his allegiance to some racist nut case that he should've left in the dust years ago. Then again, no one has yet to ask that while being a member of that church, was he really involved in it? Someone told him years ago he needed a "church home" and one of his first significant judgments was to pick this one. Oh good. What was the other "bonehead" mistake, as he called it? Oh yeah, rackateer Rezko. For the guy who touts "judgment" as his big thing, he sure has been stupid about some important things.

No, Obama doesn't "deserve" the nomination. He has to earn it just like everyone else before him earned it - some easier and earlier than others. He isn't some special case for which we throw out the rules just because it would be a more tidy nomination process.

We will NOT win in November with Barack Obama. I don't care what people are reporting in snap-shot polls to single-focused questions. And we cannot afford another 4 years of McCain-Let-Me-Justify-Bush's-Legacy-For-Ya.

Bill Richardson got a deal. We all know that. It makes no other sense. Well, Obama doesn't have enough deals to go around. IF HILLARY CLINTON WINS BASED UPON THE SUPERDELEGATES' VOTES THEN SHE WINS...PERIOD...FAIR AND SQUARE.

WHAT IS IT ABOUT OBAMA LOSING THAT YOU CAN'T ACCEPT?

  • GOP WILL CHEW HIM UP!

[Read the article: The GOP attack plan for Barack Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

WRight, wrong, or indifferent, the GOP will chew up Obama and spit him out. I don't want to be defending this guy to my friends this Fall! That's a fact. I want to be convincing my friends that HRC is the one who should be leading our country out of this mess, not John McCain who is only interested in perpetuating Bush's policies four more years. That's a contrast that I can make that makes sense. With Obama, what do I say? "Oh yeah, I know the guy has no REAL experience doing much of ANYTHING, but he's real smart and will catch on quick."
