  • HE SHARES A STALL WITH

[Read the article: Renzi won't resign]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Larry Craig. Just another example of the double standard in politics for men and women. These men get away with murder (see congressman from California) and Hillary Clinton just keeps getting whacked because she won't go away!

  • QUARTERBACK?

[Read the article: Obama: "We're on the same team"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Oh hell no you are not trying out for quarterback, naive resume-lite dude. The position is Coach - not Player.

  • SEE, THAT'S THE PROBLEM...

[Read the article: Has Starbucks lost its soul?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

only people like you ever thought that a corporation had a soul. Corporations have life cycles; like shopping malls. And it was only a matter of time before consumers would decide that standing in line to pay over $5.00 for a cup of flavored coffee was absurd. And now that you can get a cuppa cappa at the Speedway, well where's the specialness of it all?

Starbucks was always a place for people who had more time on their hands than they knew what to do with, and more money to waste while doing it.

Alas, the younger crowd now has to pay off all that credit card debt filled with coffee and blueberry scone charges, and no longer has time to sit around contemplating their wireless navels. It's called growing up, dude.

  • JESSIE VENTURA PHENOMENON

[Read the article: Obama's got ground game]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The Obama campaign reminds me of the Jessie Ventura (Minnesota Governor) phenomenon. He too took advantage of the younger, seldom/never voted group and was able to parlay the same-day voter registration process in Minnesota into his election day ground game. Ventura took advantage of all summer long of his radion talk show for extra exposure, and branded the more traditional Democrats running as "old guard" in order to appeal to the independents and young voters.

In fairness, it should also be noted that Minnesota has public campaign financing in the form of public matching funds. Going into the Fall,Ventura secured an early loan for his campaign secured by the match. Creative financing, huh?

After just one term, Ventura gave it up. I mean, after you spend down the rainy day fund and cut taxes for everyone, and who couldn't do that in the hey-day of the 90's?, the guy didn't have a clue or obviously the motivation to govern in bad times.

So, Ventura and the people of Minnesota had their grand democratic experience in swamping the vote with irregular and non-voters through independents and first-timers, thereby diluting the choice of the regular party members.

  • GOOD...AS IT SHOULD BE

[Read the article: Clinton campaign: Forget what we said earlier]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I'm glad that the Clinton campaign is not throwing in the towel after this next round of primaries. Everyone knows that the caucuses are not necessarily representative of everyone who wants to particpate; i.e, shift workers, single moms, and others who have other responsibilities and who cannot be in one place at one specfic time.

And I agree: If the Obama-ites and the media have already crowed their guy king of the party, then he should do a clean sweep. To not carry one big state, like Ohio or Texas, says that clearly the base has not yet decided to be done with the selection process. Obama isn't THAT far ahead to claim this thing is over.

It's just too damn bad that HRC keeps ruining it for everyone, isn't it? But, hey, it's our nomination process not MSNBC's. Sorry, cable pimp pundits and Obama-ites, cancel that balloon drop.

  • I SUGGEST...

[Read the article: I'm brilliant but I can't settle down. I can't keep a job. What's wrong with me? ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

you get your head out of your butt, Girl, cuz the world is NOT revolving around YOU.

I think you like living the exotic island thing because it makes you feel special and unique. "I'm brilliant?" Well, obviously you are NOT brilliant enough to get a job you want or motivated enough to go find it.

Stop whining and start working to pay your bills and keep a roof over your head.

  • GET OFF IT!

[Read the article: Hillary Clinton makes her stand in Ohio]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

"The blue-collar, ethnic Roosevelt Democrats are staying with Hillary Clinton because the Clintons are what they've known for the last 16 years."

WRONG, WRONG, AND WRONG AGAIN! This kook makes it sound like Democrats supporting HRC are not capable of looking at other candidates, sizing them up, and rejecting THEM! Who wants to trust our country to the judgment of a bunch of 20 year olds who don't know sh__ from shinola, and are just now discovering that you cannot keep charging $5.00 Starbucks coffee and bagels on your VISA the rest of your life!

Make no mistake, pundits. We are voting for HRC and AGAINST the Obama-Rama Carnival Show. We already saw the 5-legged calf in Kansas, thank you.

  • GOT NEWS FOR YOU, BUCKO

[Read the article: The cold price of hot blood]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Americans started checking their wallets a few years ago and the only ones who have yet to "get it" is the Congress. I demand that Bush's presidential pension be garnished to help pay for this mistake. And just because HE won't admit it was a mistake, doesn't mean he doesn't OWE IT BACK TO US!

  • OH, SPARE US, PLEASE!

[Read the article: Could I quit the drinking but keep the hangovers? ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Who really cares about your life anyway? And when are you going to grow up, get job or start a career, make a damn contribution to the earth in some capacity, and start actually living your life instead of dwelling in some ego-centric drama day-in, day-out?

You know what the problem with people like you is? Somebody once applauded your selfish ass when you were 2 and you really believed you earned it!

  • SOMEBODY GET MATTHEWS A VALIUM

[Read the article: "Pennsylvania prefers a beefier sort than either of these people"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The poor guy is just soooooo worked up over the Democratic primary election that I'm afraid he's going to have nervous breakdown. Does anyone really listen to him anymore? I have not watched irrelevent MSNBC since the "pimped out" crack and discovered I have not missed a damn thing! The next MSNBC series should be "Locked Up: Inside...Chris Matthews'Mind." Now that's seriously scarey stuff.
