Hey What Were You Taught?
[Read the article: A friend is doing chemo. What should I say?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Or maybe you were not taught and never watched anyone else express their sincere interest in the well-being of others who were ill, or disadvantaged in some way?
If you care, then simply tell the person in a straightforward manner that you care, wish them the best as they recover, and that if there is anything you can do to facilitate that to please let you know. Adding a "I'll leave it up to you to determine how I might be supportive, but know that I care and wish you the best."
There, that wasn't so hard, now was it?

CAN HILLARY COME BACK?
[Read the article: Can Hillary Clinton come back?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Where did she go? In case you have not noticed, she is competing and continuing to pick up her share of delegates and has been propelled back to the front of the tally. Some may want her to go away, but Hillary can win the nomination as easily as Obama - YES SHE CAN!

GOLLY GEE!
[Read the article: Former President Bush to endorse McCain]
[Read more letters about this article: Here](gush, gush) from "more" respected to "most" respected in 4.5 seconds! yeah, the GOP and the right have a real love fest going on with H.W. That's why we're in Iraq, by the way. Junior got his testacles in a bunch when Daddy wouldn't finish off Saddam. The trillion dollar payback.

BIG DIFFERENCE
[Read the article: Mr. Penn, pot and kettle called]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Mark Penn isn't running for office, is he? And I'm sure with enough digging, Obama's got other such connections to the industry to warrant the charge. By the way, playing with Republicans is always a dangerous, messy thing. And the latest tag lines like "bipartisan," "reaching out across the aisle," and all the rest of that crap is nothing more than "sell out" anyway.

OH, HOW BOLD...
[Read the article: What will John Lewis do?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]...AND SLEEZY! The guy wants to endorse one verbally and publically and actually show up on stage with her, but give the man his vote for the nomination? And all because that was his constituents' preference? Was that a caucus, by the way? And regardless, Mr. Lewis is an ass clown with no backbone.

Annoying Little Items Anyway
[Read the article: Your MySpace friend request violates my restraining order!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The MySpace and other such useless, time-sucking, toys of the internet that show up unannounced asking you to complete a form with your personal information on it because some jerk with no life gets all wrapped up in the stuff are annoying as hell. "Do you want to be so-n-so's friend? Yes or no." Well, if they are going to reduce and define my friendship with them as yet another tiring crack in my privacy - then NO! Since when did being someone's friend require you to be smathered all over the damn world? And those tiring "Update my Address Book Even Though I Never, Ever Communicate With You" are the worst offenders. Who cares if you don't have my recent contact information when I never hear from you anyway?

Hillary Is Right
[Read the article: Clinton: "My opponent gives speeches, I offer solutions"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The Obama-ites have been drinking the kool-aid, preferring to go blindly toward the light rather than really look at him and her and figure out which one is a political opportunist - and which one has the gravitas to get the job done.
Obama hasn't spent very much time doing any one thing. He doesn't have the depth of background or experience that Hillary Clinton has. If anything, that means he will have to flounder, make mistakes, and soak up more time to get the country turned around. Obama,in not wanting to defend his resume-lite record, pooh-poohs government as a bureaucracy to be managed. Tell that to Katrina victims. That is the GOP position too.
Hillary Clinton sees government as a tool, a vehicle that, when utilized properly, can make a huge difference in people's lives. Another President who had the same attitude was Franklin D. Roosevelt. He used government to jump-start the educations of a generation of Americans who went on to build this country's strenght and respect around the world.
Obama is a recipient of many opportunities from those who came before him, including the 8 years that Bill Clinton was President of the United States. The least he can do is recognize it,stop running away from it, and stop asking everyone else to run away with him!

THE ONLY THING ANYONE IS CHEERING ABOUT...
[Read the article: Jihadis throw a wild bash over the Protect America Act]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]is that there is an end in sight to all the madness that is George W. Bush and Friends. The GOP is not a political party anymore. It's a facist cult.
But, get ready, America. The political season is upon us, and it's time now to get all the GOP boogie men out of the closet and start dragging them out to benefit McCain and the GOP congress flacks that have nothing to run on this year. It's time for the color-codes to start going up on CNN, the warnings about non-descript jihad women with explosives strapped to them, and other undocumented "take-our-word-for-it" breaking news - just like starting at the beginning of summer in 2004.
Remember in 2004 when the GOP started that summer playing to the "I'm afraid, so very afraid" soccer moms? Well, this year they are "I'm afraid, so very afraid that my McMansion is about to be foreclosed upon" and let's hope they get their heads out of their 'burb butts and vote Democratic this year. And if they don't - then tax the hell out of THEM to pay for all this madness!

OH YEAH, THAT'S WHAT WE NEED!
[Read the article: Should we vote like Hot or Not?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Shut up and sit down! We have a one person-one vote system. Let's make THAT work before we go off changing to a more convuluted system that encourages more head-scratching and is anything more than simply counting, 1...2...3...4.
Buy, hey, I'll bet you won a prize at the Science Fair for that one. Well done, kid. Just count the damn votes.

DO YOU....
[Read the article: Bill O'Reilly's tortured logic]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]...feel the pain of being irrelevent, Bill O'Reilly? No matter how Fox tries to spin themselves, they are FREAKIN' TOAST. Stick a fork in them, and turn them OFF. Why give him the time of day, let alone precious space? Isn't there a REAL problem to be focusing on or discussing? These ass clowns have already gotten their fair share.
