Here's What You Do...
[Read the article: Undecided '08: Should I vote for Clinton or Obama?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]You will vote for Hillary Clinton because she is NOT Bill Clinton, and yes, because she has been fighting for you as a female, and whole lot of others, a helluva lot longer than Obama has been fighting for...for...well, exactly WHO has Obama been fighting for? See, that's the problem with Obama. I don't really know what the guy has been doing since he grew up.
Besides, did you think that this is really a whole lot more than just how you are "going to feel?" Voting isn't a therapy session. It's also about doing the right thing for the country too. It should'nt be about who you want to have a beer with, or who's cuter, or who's wearing all the right things this political season.
I heard Obama say at a debate that the role of the President is to pass legislation (no, that's the job of Congress, Obama) and manage the bureaucracy. Interesting word "bureaucracy" to describe his Cabinet and other important Federal government operations. Hmmm. Seems someone else was going to "manage" too. Remember that one? Well, real Democrats see government as a vehicle for change and for making people's lives better. Obama sees it as a bureaucracy to be "managed." How glib.
I don't think Obama has a real grasp of what it means to be President, and we don't have time for another learning curve(see George W. Bush).
Not a one of them is perfect. I too was going to vote for John Edwards. Now, I'm voting for Hillary Clinton because she will work harder as a female, and she will push harder for important changes in direction that our country needs because she is a female. And she won't pout and put a big chip on her shoulder when the criticism (just or unjust) comes at her either - like someone else we know.

MCCAIN NO LIBERAL!
[Read the article: Betrayed by John McCain]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Hey, find another place to dump your garbage! McCain is hardly a moderate-liberal, whatever that is supposed to mean! He's no liberal, doesn't have the voting record of one, and those of us who are liberal resent you telling others that he is one!
Liberals don't particularly want to stay in Iraq for 100 years, Dumbo. And judging by recent polls, most Republicans don't want to either.
Find another place to dump your GOP rejects with a political identity problems.

WELL, GOLLY, GEE WHIZ!
[Read the article: I'm a nude dancer trying to finish my Ph.D.]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Mr. Tennis makes it sound like just because you want to do this, have it all figured out, and plenty of wit to boot, that there just is not a down side to working as a stripper!
Oh yeah there is. Call it art or whatever else you need to call it to rationalize it, but men don't pay that kind of money when they go to museums.
Since Mr. Tennis doesn't want to discuss the down side, here's a few that I've thought up: If you are found out, it will come back to haunt you. People will make judgments about you regardless of how much wit and charm you possess. Your family will be disappointed, embarrassed, and wonder what they did wrong - all natural reactions, by the way. Potential husbands probably will not be thrilled upon learning about your extra-curricular activities either. I'm sure you won't want to put this experience on your resume, so now you have to lie about your employment history, possibly jepardizing the job-of-a-lifetime.
You could also deal drugs and make more money than a regular job too, but would you do it? It's time to grow up, Chickie, get off the stage, realize that it's not always about you, you, you, and accept the fact that "you can't always get what you want..."

FAULTY ARGUMENTS
[Read the article: Obama talks hope, but not before attacking Clinton]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]IF HIS CAMPAIGN IS SO ABOUT GOING FORWARD, NOT BACKWARDS, AND THE FUTURE NOT THE PAST, THEN WHY DOES HE KEEP CARPING ABOUT IRAQI WAR VOTES - VOTES, THAT BY THE WAY, HE WASN'T AROUND TO DECIDE ANYWAY? AND HE HAS VOTED FOR EVERY BUDGET TO KEEP TROOPS IN IRAQ SINCE HE WALKED INTO THE SENATE. OBAMA IS A TYPICAL POLITICIAN WHO HAS BUFFALOED THE VOTERS INTO THINKING THAT HE'S SO SPECIAL, SO DIFFERENT, WHEN THE REALITY IS, HE ISN'T.

MESSIAH COMPLEX TOO - GOLLY
[Read the article: Obama talks hope, but not before attacking Clinton]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"...we're what you have been waiting for..."
Oh, pulleeeze! I "hope" this guy doesn't break his arm patting himself on the back. I think Obama has started believing his own spin and that's the first step to self-destruction. Looks to me like the guy has a Messiah Complex.
Obama and McCain. Wow! Now, there's a debate that will be a real snoozer. Obama has absolutely nothing to fall back on in the way of experience. The voters will nod and agree with "he voted for the war in Iraq" for about two times. Then, excuse them, but they have bills to pay and other more pressing problems right now than 6 year old votes. McCain will chew him up and spit him out all the while sitting there with a grin on his face.
The GOP would LOVE Obama to be the Democratic nominee.

Reid and Pelosi Need To Go!
[Read the article: Republicans have become the credibility-free party]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Pelosi and Reid need to go. I've never seen such lousy leadership, disjointed messaging, and downright surrender as I've seen from these two Democrats.
