Gary Kamiya

I was hoping for a hotter picture of Sarah, Gary.

Half a dom is not 50% of the whole. But then, that parallels the intellectual depth of your story: A big donut hole of innuendo, lies and typical liberal mamby pamby PelosiReed World clap trap.

Sarah Palin doesn't need to seduce anyone big fella; she's intelligent, tough and the next generation feminist. As witnessed by how many first generation feminists are going bonkers that this female lives life as opposed to ringing her hands about it.

Palin has merged parenthood, spousedom and a career together, by working her, I'm sure, cute behind off, and smiling all the way without leaving males barfing in her wake.

Gloria Steinem, Sally Quinn and the rest of the geriatric bra burning crowd don't know what to make of Sarah, so they are trying to eat her alive with their slime, and if they had mirrors, the ugliness in their cheesy hearts. Classy bunch of feminists those babes are!

Anyway, this was my first and probably only foray into Salondomcom and I must say, Keith Olbermann has nothing on you.

Sincerely,

Salami1

Professor Cole

Hello?

Hey professor! Is everyone who writes for salon.com mentally retarded?

What the hell were you smoking when you divined up this waste of electrons?

I hope as a professor of Modern Middle Eastern & South Asian history at the University of Michigan and the author of "Napoleon's Egypt: Invading the Middle East, you know what the concept of HUMILIATION means. Because you are going to be wallowing in it when everyone realizes that 9/10ths of your pseudo intellectual rant was total bull shit.

Seriously professor, if I may give you some advice: If you are only going to get your current history from the Daily Kos, please throw some smiley faces in your output so anyone not used to that excrement "thinks" you are trying to be funny....

Beam me up, Obama!

Camille Paglia

At last, a thinking person writing in Salon.com!

Having wondered out loud in 2 previous comments, if your website had any value short of cornering the market on hysterical excess, Paglia was good. Not that I agreed with a lot of what she said or believes, but this contributor, contributes. Intellectually.

To ideas, challenged notions, sacred cows and internal conflict not to be arrogant about. She made me think and I am grateful for the exercise - which I will continue tomorrow.

Thanks Camille,

Salami1

Original article: George Bush with big hair

Garrison Keillor

Gosh, Garrison,

I must confess I really do like a Prairie Home Companion, but in regard to this drivel, I've got 3 words of rebuttal to lay on you:

Nancy Pelosi - Harry Reed - Smooth talking neophyte politician, BO.

Ok, ok that's 9-10 words depending on how you count BO, but I don't have your practice counting money.

In any case - using George Bush as your bad guy (which I don't agree with by the way), do we really want Barak Obama (smooth talking neophyte politician) running the United States in partnership with the likes of Edith Bunker Pelosi and Jelly Fish Harry Reed???

That's a skit worthy of PHC, Garrison!

Imagine Vladimir Putin, Mahmoud Ahmadineja and Wen Jiabao doing a conference call the morning after the election, grinning like all get out, and divvying up the planet while this troika of political gas bounces from sanctimonious opinions to empty threats, while crippling the economy and thank god we've got the UN to save our asses...!!

Jesus-H-Christ, Garrison; do you hate George Bush and Dick Cheney that much you'd tank the rest of us for revenge?

Can Democrats Clone this Woman?

Just about when I thought liberals were as boringly stupid as slugs on the right like Sean Hannity and Squeaky Screaming Mark Levin, I discovered Paglia, and all I can say is thank God for that! (Oops, is God ok to say in Salon??)

To me this latest column by this woman reads intelligence, reverence for what the D party and liberalism used to stand for, and just plain honesty.

My party has totally F'd up the healthcare debate, exactly for the reason's Paglia articulated. They bit off so much and with no ultimate goal to the detriment of the healthcare issue, to the humiliation that the president got caught up in having to make a case why he should be able to speak to kids in school!

I agree with Paglia, heads have got to role in the white house if this president is going to have a chance to make a real difference before he's booted out of office in 3.5 years. Seriously, what kind of clown show is Emanuel and his minions running in the White House?

To be able to make the public think the health insurance companies deserve any kind of sympathy is startling, yet there it is for everyone to see. Incompetence and cowardice in the White House; and the president promised so much more.
