...rather than Narcissism. She sure acts like it. People with those cluster B personality disorders all have a similar creepy charm, but there are differences. The fear of abandonment is the main thing with Borderlines, moreso than a mere need for attention; they'll often stop at nothing to stem that fear. They are also expert manipulators; thus if she didn't actually kill Kurt, which I wouldn't put past her, she certainly (and probably intentionally) pushed him over the edge. Either way, if he's dead he can never leave her. Plus, she'll always be the tragic widow.
People discuss the likes of Courtney Love at length yet rarely if ever does this very salient point get mentioned. Most people in the fame biz are Narcissists, but there are quite a few Borderlines as well; Angelina Jolie is probably the most famous one currently. She's better behaved - Angelina is more the inward acting type whereas Courtney is the outward acting type; Jolie's film 'Girl, Interrupted' is sometimes mentioned as a fairly good example of both types. Other well known probable B's include Joan Crawford, OJ, Princess Di, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Drew Barrymore. Possibly Madonna, maybe Björk. And I wouldn't be surprised if Yoko and Sinead were also borderline; they both have many or most of the characteristics. That's the pattern I see there, 'Anonymous'. BTW, there is no such thing as "NPD Cluster B", as such; there are 10 recognized 'official' personality disorders grouped into 3 clusters, NPD and BPD are IN cluster B along with Histrionic and Antisocial PD.
Was Love sexually abused as a child? Unloved? I don't know, but I'd bet on it. If so, it's sad, but it doesn't excuse how badly she's screwing up her poor kid. That by itself is enough to explain people's rage and contempt for her.
Seriously, is it really a surprise that Love's outrageous behavior engenders OUTRAGE?
She does have some talent, but for me it's virtually obliterated by the fact that she's sort of a monster - she essentially (or actually) killed her husband, she's planting the seeds of self destruction in her kid, and odds are she's going to continue her emotional-equivalent-of-drunk-driving-on-the-sidewalk life until she offs herself. It's just sad and ugly and wretched, and awful.
I, for one, DO NOT "appreciate her aggressive efforts to redefine acceptable female behavior". I dated a Borderline for a little over a year; I'm a little amazed that I came out of it alive (AMONG OTHER THINGS, tailgating a flatbed truck in a small car at 85 mph at a range of 3' or so...) and undiseased (also among other things - between our last 2 'interludes' she slept with 3 other guys without telling me, and then tried her best to blame me for her subsequent herpes despite knowing exactly which of the 3 she got it from!). 'Redefine acceptable female behavior' indeed! My ex did utterly UNacceptable things, and forced those around her to deal with the consequences. Years later, I'm still getting over some of the abusive things she did. I did learn how people get sucked into abusive relationships, and about personality disorders.
Saddam Hussein, by the way, is another well known probable Borderline, along with possibly Hitler.
'Nuff said.
AND get it published first?
With the new Troll-O-Matic 3.0, he's guaranteed to be the first dweeb in line to complain about how un-funny his favorite strip is!
"Aldzheimer's" ? Making spelling errors while mocking your target is bad form, troll.
People might be inclined to think you're not very bright.
Soliciting prostitution and purchasing methamphetamine ARE still ILLEGAL, aren't they? Did anyone remember to call the cops on this guy? Wouldn't they maybe have some questions for him?
Shouldn't the LAW deal with him before Dobson waterboards him or attaches electrodes to his genitals or whatever it is he's gonna do to exorcize the queer out of him?
Did Fawcett's campaign HQ get stinkbombed, or not, Colorado Boy?
Did he get death threats, or not?
Did the campaign finance director's car get stinkbombed, or not?
The campaign supposedly reported these things to the cops, are they therefore guilty of filing false police reports?
Did the local NBC affiliate broadcast this footage of campaign sign vandalism? Did they post it on their website? Would you care to post the link for us?
And if "vandals" (your term for them) tearing down campaign signs and burning them is not merely vandalism, but terrorism; aren't death threats and nuisance chemical weapons worse terrorism? Were these vandals reported to the police? Does NBC have video of them being arrested? Are the police investigating this organized campaign of theirs?
If you don't like Lauren Sandler's reporting, well, this is the internet. Do your own reporting and back it up, we'll read it. And if you don't like her commentary, maybe you should refrain from adding commentary to your own "reporting". "That's not just vandalism; that's terrorism." sounds like commentary to me. Unless the vandals threatened someone or risked hurting someone, in my book they're just vandals.
You want to complain, back it up, Coward Boy.
If you'd use something like your real name on your letters you'd have a better chance of getting a star. People could see what other letters you'd written and get an idea of what you're about and who you are. My S.B. stands for Steve Bird, by the way. I'd bet Gibbs is 'tregibbs' real name too.
If you want a star on your paper, learn to sign your name, Boy.
