Joan, why do you resort to name-calling?
[Read the article: Hillary Clinton's long strange journey on Iraq]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Why use terms like Obamaton or Hillary-hater at all? It makes you just like every other hateful, knee-jerk HRC supporter who posts. If another columnist wrote about wrinkled old Hillary supporters like Ferraro wouldn't you take offense?

Joan owes Obama supporters an apology or Salon needs a new editor
[Read the article: Hillary Clinton's long strange journey on Iraq]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]For her to call Obama supporters names that one usually reads from the worst Web posters is inexcusable and she needs to apologize. I was a journalist for more than 14 years and always had my doubts about the kind of "journalism" thst is practiced on sites like these but her pretense of impartiality while pushing Hillary and deriding Obama at every turn is embarrassingly unprofessional even by web standards. Then this latest stunt of name-calling is way over the line. I think in the end it is time for Salon to hire a real journalist as editor.

Moral high ground?
[Read the article: Hillary Clinton's long strange journey on Iraq]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Seeing Joan last night say Hillary had the "moral high ground" shows just how far these bitter Hillary types will go. Clinton on several occasions said that Michigan shouldn't count, she pledged not to campaign there, then left her name as the only major candidate on the ballot and now wants to claim a win. Any decent person would see the obvious hypocrisy and craven power play in her stance, but according to a yellow journalist like Joan Walsh, Hillary has the "moral high ground." I guess when you support a candidate as ethically challenged as Hillary Clinton you either give up any ethics you have don't have any ethics yourself. Joan Walsh needs to apologize for her name-calling of Obama supporters, be honest for once about her own preferences, then Salon needs to find an editor who knows what responsible journalism is.

Moving beyond Joan Walsh's dishonesty and lck of integrity
[Read the article: Moving beyond Obama and race]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Of all the things Joan Walsh could write about from this week -- McCain's scary, intentional misunderstanding of the forces at work in the Middle East, Hillary Clinton's proven fabrication of her foreign policy "experience" -- what does she do? Go to the talking points of the right-wing and Clinton slime machines with yet another column attacking Obama on a speech that inspired even some of his other critics. Joan, you have gotten a ton of criticism because of what you said about Obama's speech -- you are being criticized because of your blatant skewering of every issue in Hillary's favor and against Obama -- all the while pretending to be fair. You have become a complete journalistic joke - and you comments about thinking twice about what people said - really, Joan did you? Have you thought twice about calling the Obama supporters names? I don't know if you think you are fooling people or you are just fooling yourself. Maybe you have to delude yourself so you can keep some of your self-respect with what you ave been doing the last few weeks. Maybe you and Ferraro and others of your wrinkled, dishonest ilk have to lie to yourselves these days in order to do what you are doing. Or maybe you really are just like Hillary and have no morals. Salon, get a real journalist for editor, please.

Joan Walsh ruins any serious Salon discussion
[Read the article: The Democrats' anti-momentum]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]When you have an "editor" who is so blatantly biased in favor of one candidate -- all the while pretending to be a fair journalist -- then everything, including this article, that appears on Salon has to be judged through the lens of yellow journalism that Joan Walsh has come to embody. Does she go through every election article now to make sure Hillary appears in the best light and Obama the worst possible light? I wouldn't have thought so before but her continuing underhanded approach to writing about this election calls into question every article that appears here. Please, Salon, get a REAL journalist for an editor!!!!

Joan Walsh commentary coming on Hillary's lies
[Read the article: "It is possible ... that she misspoke"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]So Hillary is proving to be a serial liar, just like her husband. Looks like the ability to spin, obfuscate and just flat out lie was the most salient experience she got out of being First Lady. Since Joan Walsh jumps on every syllable Obama utters in order to question him at every possible turn, I assume (since Joan is such an honest and fair journalist) we will now be reading her take on the growing body of Clinton's lies about her ... ahem .. "record." Or not, unless of course it is to make excuses for these lies. Salon, please get a real journalist as editor.

What about Joan Walsh?
[Read the article: Rev. Jeremiah Wright isn't the problem]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]You condemn the "mainstream media" for their treatment of this story but you pass on criticizing Salon's editor Joan Walsh, for continuing to push this story in support of Hillary's candidacy. And how many more articles are coming from Salon on a "story" that revolves around Obama's pastor's words while only War Room briefs are written about the words actually coming out of the mouths of his rivals: the growing list of Hillary's lies padding her slim resume or McCain's words showing he doesn't understand the political situation in the middle East? Two much more important factors in choosing a President but they are almost ignored while Salon joins the right-wing media machine in keeping this story alive as long as possible (even though 70% in polls accept Obama's explanation). Why Salon? Orders from above?

ROFLMAO
[Read the article: Clinton camp releases Pennsylvania ad]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]She will "end 55 billion dollars in giveaways to corporate special interests and invest it in middle-class tax cuts and creating new jobs. She'll get tough on unfair trade deals and end tax breaks to companies that ship jobs overseas."
HAHAHAHAHA!1 Miss NAFTA and hearthrob of lobbyists and special interests everywhere will end corporate giveaways. This is as big a lie as her taking fire from snipers tall tale but the facts won't gt covered by the MSM or in the Joan Walsh-led Salon.

In other news, Pope admits belonging to Catholic Church
[Read the article: Nancy Reagan to endorse McCain]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Alex, is Joan feeding you these stories so Hillary's lies are kept off of Salon? Today Hillary is trying to bring up Wright again as the media starts to focus on her phony resume and while they ignore the story of Hillary's own bizarre and scary religious connections - see Alternet and Ehrenreich's story. But nothing from Salon on these stories... how strange.
