  • The whining's just getting started ...

[Read the article: Can the Clinton campaign take the heat?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

..about how Hillary is being mistreated by people daring to bring up the huge piles of dirt on them. The Clinton campaign hasn't begun to feel the heat with what's about to start coming out: Burkle, Kazakhstan, tax returns, etc. Their campaign has been a joke but it is hard to believe they wanted to start a fight about ethics - good grief, these are the CLINTONS for Chrissakes! They are as ethically challenged as you will find in Washington and that's saying something. She's only going to release her returns AFTER the nomination is secured? Talk about buyer's remorse. Then the bombshells will really fall. I will not waste any more of my time as I did in the 1990s trying to defend two of the sleaziest people in politics. It was a waste of time then and it is a waste of time now because they are total slaves to their own egos (meaning for Bill it's sex and power and for Hillary it's just power) and the only way to satisfy their desires is to be shills for big corpora. Pennsylvanians, or whoever, if Texas and Ohio were too dumb to do it, please rid of these albatrosses around our necks forever.

  • We need Power in the situation room

[Read the article: Obama advisor calls Clinton a "monster," apologizes]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

If you have seen No End in Sight you know that Samantha Power is a bastion of sane, responsible foreign policy in a world of crazed neocons, many of whom like the infamous Michael O'Hanlon populate the Clinton campaign. THEY are the ones who should be fired. Power is a brilliant, rising academic who would give valuable insight on foreign policy.

  • Bring her back when Obama wins

[Read the article: Obama advisor Power resigns]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

As anyone who has seen No End in Sight can testify, Samantha Power is a sane voice against the insane schemes and misguided policies of the neocon chickenhawks, including those like O'Hanlon who are Hillary's advisers. THEY should be the ones resigning for getting us into war after war without end. Instead, if Hilary or McCain win, they will continue to rule our foreign policy - more war, more terrorism, more treasure slipping away. We need more people willing to speak truth to power (even if the truth hurts, Hillary), not less. Here's hoping Obama brings Power back into his circle when he takes the White House.

  • Why it's over for us

[Read the article: Eliot Spitzer's monumental fall from grace]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

a country that requires a politician who sees hookers to fall on his sword while thieves like Icahn and Trump are hailed as heroes is done for

  • Take a minute and READ the memo

[Read the article: Obama camp targets Clinton experience claims]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

If people will take time to read this memo, it totally and factually debunks the myth of HRC's foreign policy experience. Not that the Clintionite spinners and kneecappers care but the media and voters should. It says a lot about our media that the Obama campaign had to dig all these things up, when with a little research and effort, reporters could have done the same thing many months ago. But they are too busy preening on Hardball and acting as "expert" analysts of the horse race or writing snarky gossip like Dowd - research like this would require actually doing a reporter's job. Everything in this memo can be verified if reporters would take the time to do it, but something tells me they won't even take the time to read it, much less do their jobs and report the facts about Clinton's record. Unfortunately, that is the main reason Hillary and her supporters are still able to spin their lies and while she is still considered by the MSM as a "credible" candidate.

  • speaking of tin-eared ...

[Read the article: Was Obama's speech enough?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Nothing Joan Walsh writes about this campaign can be taken seriously anymore because of her pro-Hillary bias. Obama can't win over the white racists and he can't win over Joan Walsh - no matter what he says or does. Joan Walsh needs to clean out her own ears and put her agenda out there for all to see. Then she might regain some of her lost credibility.

  • Obama, go after the white guys

[Read the article: Obama's faith in the reasoning abilities of the American public]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

As one of those older white guys, I wish Obama would go after them in full force in Pennsylvania, especially the so-called Reagan Democrats in the heart of the state. As someone who grew up in the southern part of the country, I've seen how sometimes it takes years and years for change to happen and sometimes people's views and emotions can change in the space of a moment. If Obama visits the blue-collar voters (maybe on a whistle-stop tour) in the middle of Pennsylvania and talks and listens to them face-to-face he will make converts. Maybe not enough to win but, along with this speech, it will help to turn things around with these voters, at least some of whom he will need in the general election. I know they don't like hearing they are racist, so talk to them and show them what kind of man he is and, maybe not publicly, some of them will end up voting for him because, in the end, they are not that different from other Obama voters who know we have to change the way things are done in this country.

  • Joan Walsh - just a Hillary troll

[Read the article: Hillary Clinton's long strange journey on Iraq]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Throwing around terms like "Obamatons" ("they're out there") and "Hillary-haters" Joan Walsh just proved she is no better than the hateful, knee-jerk Hillary supporters who post on sites like these. It's been so sad to watch Joan Walsh, someone I used to respect, lose all credibility with her unspoken bias this election in favor of a candidate who, as any honest assessment could prove through transcripts or C-span speeches, did a lot more than just get fooled by George Bush. Hillary, in positioning herself for a presidential run, spoke like a true hawk before the invasion. To point that out would have required journalistic integrity, something Walsh can no longer claim. But I'm sure I am one of those she would put into the category of being against Hillary out of a lack of "integrity." If you want to know what a lack of integrity is, Joan, take a look in the mirror.
