Palin: Feminism's greatest leap forward since Madonna.

Ugh! How is Madonna still even part of Paglia's feminist arsenal? I thought the "Madonna is the greatest feminist ever" was over.

Hell, Britney Spears should have been next in line for greatest feminist ever mantle if we follow Paglia's train of thought, or (thinking of the Ozzy song "Crazy Train" what about Sharon Osborn? Or how about the Olson twins? The greatest feminist twins EVER!

Sheesh... I get the feeling that Paglia loves celebrities almost as much as she loves her extra large vocabulary and Ivy League roots.

One American woman (me) to Palin

um yeah F.U.

I am a woman and some of my best friends are women. We women who supported Hillary Clinton did not support her because she was a woman.

I as a woman and a strong supporter of, well, women will not support you. I will not support you because you are opposed to my political views (ex: abortion, equal pay for genders, etc...).

I believe this is the first time I will be among the majority. Most voters do not think you, Palin, are fit to be Vice President or, more importantly President of our country.

You are a Woman who deserves respect and admiration for your political accomplishments. I am also impressed with your ability to raise such a beautiful and happy family. You are a role model for many.

However, being a role model and wonderful politician does not mean you are the best choice for Vice President or President.

These time require a leader, not a follower who has good staff. Please Mrs. Palin do not run as Vice President if you do not think you are the best candidate to become the NEXT president.

Sincerly, Allie Hutchins

Upsidedown world.

I am not smart because I do not support Gov. Palin. And those that support Gov. Ma Palin are correct.

I just wish someone could tell me if I am still an American...

Katie Couric is a Viper?

Really? A viper, as in snake?

Wow, that sounds like a completely unjust description of a strong woman. Couric, incidentally like Palin, was also a trailblazer with respect to career opportunities. Couric the being the first woman to anchor the nightly news on one of the major T.V. networks.

So why is Palin the new feminist ideal and Couric a snake?

RE: What if Palin were dude?

Then she would be a George W. Bush sans the money and the blue blood line.

Original article: "Sour loser"

What a jerk face!

Apparently this John Derbyshire is more of an ass than I had even imagined! This is what I read on NRO.

"I see that some of my NRO colleagues are scratching around for shards of optimism — of Hope! — in the general wreckage. Good luck to them. I see nothing for conservatives to hope for in an Obama administration. We just have to stick it out. This shallow, ignorant, self-obsessed man, who held an actual job for just one year of his charmed life (low-grade editing for an obscure newsletter — he felt, he tells us in Dreams, “like a spy behind enemy lines,” the enemy of course being capitalism), this red-diaper baby and his wife, will be our First Couple for the next four years and some weeks. It’ll be interesting. Interesting."

I fail to understand how anyone can think that Obama did not work hard for the life he now has.

Camille the Madonna of political pundits!

She might as well tongue kiss Palin a la' Madonna and Brittney. ANYTHING to keep herself popular.

Mark Simpson

"...Simpson, who has been called 'a skinhead Oscar Wilde,'..."

What does this mean? Is he a racist gay man? Is he a bald poet? Is he a Jew hating British subject?

I am so confused.

Stars and CEO's make too much money

As the economy worsens and I find myself boycotting a great deal of Hollywood Star/ Celebrity money making projects. Including various magazines that are devoted to the lives of the "Stars" and how we may look or live like them.

I am broke and I just don't want to support these actors who make millions of dollars per picture. Or the "personalities" that make millions for being "personalities."

The wage difference between the average workers and the Stars, CEO's, Models, etc... is just making me sick.

My best friend...

that I have known for over 30 years always told me she was allergic to onions. A few years back she admitted that she just did not like them and told people she was so she could avoid them. I love her like my sister, but sheesh what a little liar!

Talk radio and Rush Limbaugh

Rush tried to his hand at television in the early '90's.

It was on this show that he held up a picture of a young Chelsea Clinton and said "there is a new dog in the White House."

I do not understand what kind of human being says something like that about a young girl. And I really do not understand how a person like Ms. Paglia would continue to listen to that kind of entertainment.

Stop defending Rush

He called Chelsea Clinton the "...new dog in the White House."

Chelsea Clinton was 12.

What kind of Woman supports a man who would pick on a young kid?

For many years mainstream media has left Rush alone. I am glad he is finally being "called out." He is a bully.

"...the harder they come the harder they fall."

Dirigible

Dirigible! He he he he that is funny. Thanks for teaching me a new word.

Bruce Majors? You sound angry.

But you are directing your anger at the wrong target(s).

Look over your shoulder, Bush has thankfully left the podium.
