Obama will win.

Remember the huge lead Dukakis enjoyed after the democratic convention?

I am pleased to that the Republican Party has elected it's first non white male in the presidential race. However Palin Holds too many radical views to be elected on a national level. I think this will become more apparent to U.S. citizens after more interviews and the Vice Presidential debate.

Remember Rush Limbaugh's

comment about a young Chelsea Clinton? On his shot lived T.V. show he held up a picture of Chelsea and quipped "the White House has a new dog."

Old men picking on young girls is so disgusting.

Original article: Sarah Palin's choice

BIRTHCONTROL?

If I vote for McCain and Palin I must have faith that they evaluate situations and ultimately choose the most responsible decision.

I am 40 with three healthy children.

After loosing a very much wanted baby girl to a genetic disorder (Cri-du-Chat, a life changing heart breaking and also a termination of my pregnancy) I believe it is very important for woman to understand the risks of pregnancy later in their lives. Birth control and EDUCATION are vital when planning for ones future.

I would never consider having sex with my husband or any man after the age of 40 without birth control.

I am not willing to risk a child's odds of a fully independent life. The decision to birth a child at a late age (like Palin) is a choice and a gamble which speaks to me about her ability to be a "conservative" leader.

Bristol

I am unwilling to use a 17 year old girl as a political football. I am a feminist and pro-choice. Bristol has made her choice. Leave her alone. Let us also leave alone the choice of her son to serve in Iraq.

Personally I do not like Mrs. Palin because of her politics; anti-choice, and ... well... hell that is really all she has exposed nationally about her own political beliefs.

typos...

yup I made them in my previous post. I just stink sometimes.

Saturday, August 23, 2008 04:32 AM

I like that women and

men can both cook cupcakes. I disagree that is article is "inane" Missing the point" or whatever. I believe that there are many places which feminists both woman and men (feminists that is) can discuss the open sores that plague or world.

However this piece was about women cooking cupcakes, no?

Cook on those that can, and let me lick the spoon.

Alright Mr. Biden...

go get them, and be the attack dog that all the media claims a Veep should be...

Friday, August 22, 2008 11:44 PM

P.S.

I still am madly in love with you Mr. Olbermann (sp?)

Friday, August 22, 2008 11:43 PM

I don't even miss Keith...

when Ms. Maddow guest hosts.

She is wry, humble, intelligent, witty, beautiful, and like Mary Poppins "perfect in every way."

No I am not on her staff.

Yes I always would switch the channel when any one else would host "Count Down."

No I am not gay.

Ms. Maddow pulls in an audience, so calm down boys and let the merit system work.

Friday, August 22, 2008 11:29 PM

Well at least...

we (women) have a choice to make cupcakes.

So thank you "first" and "second" wave feminists.

And we also have the choice to be called a "cupcake" right? So that's something.

I just hope the "fourth" wave of feminists don't start baking for their pets. That would just be weird.

Wow!

What a change from President Bush.

Mr. Obama gave a speech that was not only eloquent, but also sounded as thought he understood history.

While all I can recall of Bush, with respect to Germany and the German people, is when he groped the German Prime Minister!

Original article: The livin' is easy

Pickel juice runs through the veins...

of those people who wrote nasty things about Mr. Keillor.

I mean how angry do you have to be to hate this thoughtful old fart with a young kid.

Seriously lighten up. Try some fruit, it's so sweet in July.

The Doors

The Doors suck.

The only people who really like the Doors are the old farts who grew up with the Doors, and young college age boys try to impress chicks with their "deep sensitive intellectualism." Barf!

The Backstreet Boys are a better than the Doors.

Et plus! Jim Morrison is sexy only if you are into men that look and smell like they have been living on the streets for a few years. He is also so hopelessly and completely narcissistic that going to bed with him would likely be like going to bed with a drunk frat boy from USC.

The servant class

The rich can work and have kids. The rest of us our servants with kids. Really still only two classes. The upper and the lower.

Great!

I saw them while at the gym with my headphones in my ear listening to Tina Turner's "I don't care who's wrong or right, I don't really wanna' fight no more..." Even sweaty I was happy to see these two powerful icons shaking hands.

AIDs, Loss of

self worth, not having enough life experience, lack of own ideas, no mom or pop (to show you how truly hard it is to be a parent), etc... come on, really this is silly.

Saturday, June 28, 2008 03:33 AM

Oh...

really?! Wow!! Phfth!

Original article: All together now

Stop!

It is bumbling to write about nothing, "Obama and Clinton's choreographed love fest in Unity..." Just stop the headline at least. If you feel what you are reporting is news, then site it as such and leave off the silly headline. Have some respect for this election and for your job.

little Russ and beloved big Russ.

Choose to support the working poor or the Washington elite. Really, please decide. Life ain't easy, but you can't be a union supporter and a insider washington elite. Just ain't possible.

Would be a great replacement for Mr. Russert on Meet the Press.

Gore-Lieberman

Whenever I get angry about the 2000 election, I remember that Lieberman was Gore's running mate. Ugh! Lieberman as a Democratic Vice Presidential candidate? That guy is one strange political bed fellow.
