...I predict that after this letter, there will 200+ letters arguing about the existence of imaginary friends. Letters pontificating that only certain imaginary friends are real. Letters debunked by reason and logic. Letters like Swiss cheese that have holes so big you could drive a truck through them. Letters with references to Santa, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Letters by people who believe in virgin birth, coming back from the dead, talking bushes that are on fire, talking snakes, vegan dinosaurs. There will be letters by people who think global climate change is a myth, but that fossils were put into rocks by the devil to confuse everyone.
"And now," cried Max, "let the wild rumpus start!"

"I pledge allegiance to the fad of the United States of Assholes, and to the Republicans for which it stands, one nation under ignorance, irreconcilable, with deception and distraction for all."
This race wouldn't even be close.
It should be the other way around: Test the American people so stupid/irrational people can't vote.
So many long winded books and long winded letters. If one wants to be healthy, there is only one rule need to follow: DON'T EAT ANYTHING MAN-MADE.
Research the "Paleolithic diet". It is the only logical choice for those who value what is natural for the human body.
There are so many holes in your cherry picked quotes that I almost don't know where to start.
Fact: Humans have been hunting and eating meat, well over 250,000 years. Those who eat a Paleolithic style diet have exceedingly good health.
Fact: Chimpanzees are our closest genetic cousin. THEY EAT MEAT. They have even been filmed eating rival members of other chimp groups.
Your gross generalizations of carnivores, like "Flesh-eating animals lap water with their tongue": Even a common dog or a bear are omnivores. They both lap water. There are also a great number of herbivores that lap water.
Another laughable passage: "and now that we have the environment under control".
Some more quotes: "were mainly peaceful vegetarians, rather like chimps or gorillas." What a crock of shit. Chimpanzees kill each other, eat each other, maim each other. They've been filmed eating small mammals, birds, etc.
"man only partakes of flesh foods after they have been camouflaged by cooking and...condiments" Another lie. Men all over the world who hunt like our ancestors partake of raw flesh, often immediately after the kill.
"As early as 1961, the Journal of the American Medical Association reported: "A vegetarian diet can prevent 97% of our coronary occlusions.""
Yup, nothing like 50 year old quotes about health, huh? This was around the same time you'd see TV ads with doctors endorsing certain brands of cigarettes.
"It is postulated that man cannot handle carnivorous foods like the carnivore. Herein may lie the basis for the high incidence of arteriosclerotic disease.""
Yet, the "perversion" has been the majority of the time modern humans have been on the planet and you're claiming agriculture isn't a perversion? Also: It is impossible to tell if ancient humans dies from arteriosclerotic disease, but we do know they lived 60+ years, so arteriosclerotic disease is rubbish too.
"The life of the typical zebra is usually placid, even in lion country"
How laughable. Do I need to provide extensive links of healthy, adult zebras being ripped to pieces?
However, I do agree with you that animal husbandry isn't natural, especially on a mass scale involving bad diet, poor conditions, etc.
"a vegan diet is the optimal diet for humanity"
Makes absolutely no sense. If you're going to make this a arguement about what is natural for the human body: It is impossible for a vegan to naturally get B12 without synthesized supplements. How natural is that?
P.S.
I am not attacking you. Just the ideas.
Well, overpopulation is the root of almost every problem we face in modern times...from climate change, economics, viruses, natural resources. As lofty as we like to think of ourselves, we are behaving like bacteria on a global scale. Paleolithic could work for the whole world, but only if the standards changed for how meat is raised + population control. If everyone had just one or two kids we wouldn't be in this mess.
