PERFECT!

For those of us who were there during the Reagan era, this cartoon was **PERFECT**.

It's nice to laugh like that again.

Thanks Salon and BB!!

Right on target

The media is already pulling for the new Republican "hero". BB's cartoon was right on the mark...he ain't no Ronny.

Great work BB! You hit it, right on target.

(Perhaps if BB sees some of the comments here, it might inspire some material on the malaise of modern day America...)

Tucker = lightweight/not important

Tucker isn't important.

He's just happy to have a job.

I predict he'll be doing the weather in a year or two...just like his Daddy did.

Camille...

...hasn't aged well.

Still a good read...but she's starting to lose it. It's all becoming a big muddled muck for her.

Joan Walsh...make the "SLUDGEREPORT"

Joan can play a very, very important role in the next Pres. election. She can be voice for reason and anti-smears.

Make a part of Salon called "The Sludge Report" (or something)

Make it very easy to click on to with bold headlines.

Have it accessible from Salon and lots of blogs.

Have a few of your journos (and me) to take up the top 10 right wing talk/druge "issues" of the day and post the truth.

And some Salon content to make it more than just politics.

DO IT! Salon has already been smeared and labeled by the right...make a new website (linked with Salon) that is easy to read...headlines...some entertainment...!

CANCEL THE VACATION!

Joan,

Taking time off now is not the right move. It speaks volumes about how the 'common folk' view politics, politicians, and the 'media elite' are all similar, rich and vacationing.

With the right wing doing everything they can to bring down Edwards (the real threat) and YOU being in the news with your latest interview, why don't you just add a few weeks in Aspen/Greece/wherever after November 08?!

Bill the Cat vs. Bill o'really

As usual, a funny and nice piece of work.

Expect the usual whining to come from people wanting rage and hate in everything, including their cartoons.

Although if BB could go back to a daily strip and give us a Faux news storyline (Bill the Cat vs. Bill O'Reilly) I would applaud!

Perfect

Good cartoon, Tom.

So many in the American elite think everything "american" is brilliant and worthy...left and right.

By the way, Dems need a street-fighter in 08.

HEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYY JOAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here are what should be the Left's talking points at EVERY CHANCE to get the extra few % of ill-informed red-staters:

1. Rudy. Bi-sexual. Lived with a gay-couple between marriages, why...there are "stories" of gay drug parties and homo-sex amongst the NY social "elite." Does this explain why he jumps around with wives/beards?

2. Mitt. Tortured his dog. Tortures animals...is this part of his Mormon religion that we don't really know about? And what really made him support abortion before? Why would someone support if if they didn't get a former girlfriend an abortion? Could that be it?

3. Fred. Hollywood Fred. Coke, 'ho's, and can't get out of bed after all those orgies at Heff's...is that why he's so lazy? Will tax us to Hell because he's a Hollywood Conservative.

4. Newt. Washed up nut-case. We should feel SAD for him more than anything else. Like a has-been football or baseball player, Newt's running is nothing more than an ex-champ selling autograph's at a casino door. Does running again help him only emotionally, or does it also help him pick up women?

Getting wise in old age

Newt's old.

He's showing some wisdom.

He led the Machine and it's out of control and he knows it.

A soggy potato

Newt is looking too old and baggy.

No way he'd win an election.

WHERE'S THE MEDIA ABOUT THE CHINA THREAT?

A true threat/challenge has been thrown in the face of the US by China threatening to 'destroy' the US economy if the US doesn't bow down over the artificial rate of the RMB (Chinese dollar).

Where's the media (besides Drudge)??????

Or is is because corporate America doesn't want to offend the PRC while they try to get a Disneyland built in Pudong, Coke's newest taste in Chinese middle schools, and pirated dvd's to stop in 2020?!

Thursday, August 9, 2007 11:15 AM

Right wing attacks Edwards

Right wing (drudge, etc) are going after Edwards full-on.

Hope to 'define him' early...

A Hillary/Obama ticket will NOT win. Too many Americans will not VOTE for that ticket.

Edwards/Obama...or Edwards/Biden....or Edwards/Webb...would LIKELY WIN.

Wake up, Dems.

Mitt Burgundy!

(Ron Romney?)

Can someone investigate how Mitt's Church ties landed him plum jobs and investment deals....there's a lot there!

Friday, August 10, 2007 11:08 AM

WHAT EDWARDS SHOULD DO

He's already being penciled in as a 'weakling' by the Right.

He needs to focus on talking "tough" on terror when on the mainstream press.

Rove is hiding something...he's being put out of the limelight...GET THE DETAILS! Stop being suckered by the Repubs!

Wednesday, August 15, 2007 09:47 AM

HEY JOAN!

LOOK AT THE DRUDGE REPORT TO SEE WHAT THE RIGHT WING THINKS.

DRUDGE IS DOING EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO SMEAR JOHN EDWARDS.

BECAUSE EDWARDS, SWINGING TO THE CENTER IN A GENERAL ELECTION AND WITH A GENERAL AS HIS VP CANDIDATE WOULD WIN.

Original article: Tom the Dancing Bug

Unfunny cartoon...GARGAGE

So Tom is trying to take down the Babe and build up Barry B'roids.

How "unexpected" from a lefty publication based in San Francisco.

Hey Salon: become relevant again...stop this type of 'oh to be expected' trash.

Fire Tom...remember it was your reporting licking a door-knob to get a Right wing candidate sick that led to your years of financial difficulties.
