Briefly reading through the letters, and your article, it seems that perhaps you, and most of your readers are still under the illusion that 911 was the result of Osama, and his band of rag tag 'terrorists'.
Although most are prepared to admit that the media merely writes down the scripted narrative about the war in Iraq, almost none are willing to consider that there was also a scripted false narrative about the attacks of 911.
This is the central emotional pillar that allows the war in the Middle East to continue. It needs to be exposed and dimantled. Take a look at www.wtc7.net, and evaluate the facts. In light of new scientific research and reports, it is becoming more clear that we are no where close to the truth about what happened on that fateful day.
Your voice is respected Glenn. Put your weight behind a full independent investigation of 911 to get at the truth. If the government has nothing to hide, is there a reason why they would object?
If crimes have been committed by those in high places, this may be another avenue to galvanize pubilc opinion to challenge the actions of those in power. We await your considered thoughts.
Your letter does not seem worthy of your obviously thoughtful nature. Your other posts suggest someone who gives a great deal of thought to many issues.
Goethe said "Doubt grows with knowledge". I happen to have studied 911 in some detail, hence my doubt.
You would perhaps find the topic interesting yourself, if you chose to study the relevant facts. After all, flippant comments that are not based in reason do not advance any discussion. The attempt to link a study of 911 to the tin-foil hat brigade does a disservice to all the prominent and not so prominent individuals who hold similar views. Check out a list of like minded individuals at www.patriotsquestion911.com/.
After you've looked at the topic, I would love to hear a more productive reply.
And I am still encouraging Glenn to weigh in, as it is a topical issue that will not be going away soon.
It is great to know that there are still a few reporters around who will ask the tough questions, and demand answers. It was a pleasure to read your interview with Ms. Thomas.
One problem that she did not address is the fact that the MSM is owned and operated by people who are complicit in the prevention of the dissemination of information, that those few reporters unearth.
Your recent post on the importance of the blogosphere in helping to spread that news was right on target, as usual.
Keep up the fight. Magna est veritas, et prevalebit.
This isn't exactly on the topic of the sorry state of news punditry on television. I'm hoping you can use your talents to comment on a different area, related to your legal expertise.
It is clear to most of us that there are a number of people in the Executive branch that have engaged in serious criminal behaviour. It is also evident that the Executive has stacked the judicial system with appointees whom they are hoping to use to advance their agenda of authoritarianism.
The only real alternative party in your two-party system appears to be colluding in the continuing elimination of civil rights, and the maintainance of the status quo which causes many Americans to live in poverty, have inadequate housing, and be unemployed. Many Dem leaders also appear committed to prolonging the war in Iraq.
My question is whether there is any legal remedy that the people can exert, through the Constitution, that could return the balance of power, and force this anti-constitutional group out of office. Hope you will address this in one of your upcoming posts.
