It is impossible not to point out that the 'liberal media' is uninterested in probing the depths of the 9/11 contoversy also.

No mainstream reviews of any of the numerous books critiquing 'The Oficial Story', and no deep questions about why Bush and Cheny were questioned together by the 9/11 Commission, not under oath.

Is there any reason to be questioned not under oath, except to avoid charges of perjury and then time in jail?

It is hard not to comment on 9/11, given that this is part of the text of your column.

My own feeling is that 9/11 served as a pretext for all the abuses of the Bush administration which have followed. Bush has been able to essentially dismantle the American Constitution, and we all know that he thinks its '..just a god damn piece of paper..' anyway.

Since we still do not know who the real perpetrators of 9/11 were, it would be difficult to understand their motives. The motives of Friedman and the neocons are much easier to discern. Endless war means endless money, and who doesn't love money?

The thought that immediately comes to mind is that you have not viewed the recommended video clip. If you would, you might see that your suggestion that alternative views are 'conspiracy nonsense' is not true.

This is the key issue that could awaken people to the real truth, which is that no one will be safe unless Bush is held to account.

As Pastor Martin Niemoeller made clear, if we do not defend those who are persecuted first, we will all be subject to that same persecution. It will simply be a matter of time. I ask you to watch the clip, and see if you still have the same view point.

You have a confessed War Criminal heading up the executive branch in Washington, and the possibility that Continuiuty of Government conditions are in effect and that the Constitution has already been superseded. Few seem to care that Bush is responsible for killing 100s of thousand of people in Iraq and elsewhere. Perhaps it is because the dead are so far away, and the death and devastation is not visible. Bush, at this point, appears to be a law unto himself, and no one is willing to challenge him. Congress is complicit, and by extension so are 'we the people'.

Would 'the people' be concerned if they were aware that Bush was involved in the planning and execution of 9/11? Would they care if Bush had enabled the killing of Americans on American soil, to advance his ascension to the throne?

The elephant in the room is 9/11. I challenge you and any of your readers to view this 2 and a half minute video clip, and then claim that we know the whole truth about 9/11. The people can put a stop to the abuses of this president. They need to know why they should.

Your pursuit of the lying media is great to see. The conclusion that must be drawn is that avoidance of issues is the primary way in which the MSM evades dealing with unpleasant reality. The silence on the issue of their complicity in dispensing propaganda is deafening. Likewise with the issue of 9/11.

The fact that they can not address the inconsistencies in the official story in a factual way continues to indicate that they are unable to do so. One quick fact. The collapse of WTC 7 has still not been officially explained. It is almost 7 years after the fact. How long does it take to finalize a report on the cause of the collapse of a building?
