Finally a Fair Reading of an Issue

I was beginning to think I would never see a fair reading of this issue. Living in Chicago, I don't think there is anyone that didnot know Rezko was a crook and for Obama to say he

didn't know is pure farce. Last week the Sun Times told us

that Obama has been named in the corruption case starting Feb 26. This is not to accuse him of anything but this is Patrick Fitzgerald handling this case and you can guarentee if something is wrong he will find out. When I saw the story with Hillary and the picture today on television, I thought how interesting, the Rezko story with Obama has been in the press for months in Chicago and never made it into the mainstream press and one picture of Hillary and Bill that had to be years ago......look at the hair, the dress and the youth on their face.....it's on one of the major networks this morning. Well at least now we know the story will get a look.....the Clintons have been dragged in and that is like dragging a crate of beer in front of the press.

Bashing is the only word the press knows when it comes to Clinton

MSNBC was prattling along saying how rude Hillary would be

if she didn't acknowledge Obama's win. I didn't hear one

commemt after Nevada when Obama flew home and sent out only

a written note congratulating Hillary. Hillary made a written statement at a little after 7:00 President Clinton congratulated him. Hillary congratulated him in Tenn. The press strikes the Clintons again with no cause. Obama is like Bush when he ran.......the press loves him and he is Mr. Teflon man. Remember what that got us for the last seven years. In an interview in Reno, Obama said " I'm not an operating officer. My job is to set a vision of where the bureaucracy needs to go.'" People like Obama for his message

and Bush because they could have a beer with him....There style

of leadership in Obama's own words is the same. Be careful

what you wish for. Great speeches don't solve problems.

They make you happy.....but is that all you want?

Kudos to Joan Walsh

Best column ever.....I am reminded by your story of Clinton talking before NH about LBJ with no problems, that she also

talked a lot on the campaign trail about the events that happend in London after the election of the new leader, but

when she mentioned it in NH, everyone accused her of the

terror tactics of the Republicans. Keith Olbermann spent

a large segment of his show on it. I think the Clintons

have been demonized for so long, that the media doesn't

know any other way to talk about them. Obama made a comment the other day that if he won the nomination, he would get all of Hillary's voters, but if she got the nomination, he doubted she would get his........it barely made the news....think what would have happened if Hillary had said that.

Jackson supports Clintons about comments

Jessie Jackson statement yesterday, - The Rev. Jesse Jackson said late Sunday that he was not offended by comments on Saturday by former President Bill Clinton, who brought up Mr. Jackson’s name in response to a question about Senator Barack Obama.

Mr. Clinton had noted that Mr. Jackson had won South Carolina in the Democratic contests in 1984 and 1988. Pundits and many in the blogosphere interpreted Mr. Clinton’s mention of Mr. Jackson as an attempt to diminish Mr. Obama — and what would turn out to be his landslide victory Saturday in South Carolina over Senator Hillary Clinton — because Mr. Jackson had not gone on to win the Democratic nomination.

But Mr. Jackson said he did not see it that way.

Bob Kennedy Family views it differently than Uncle Ted

Kathleen Kennedy Townsend has a different view than uncle

Ted, see her comments about her father in her announcement.

" While I admire Senator Obama greatly, I have known Hillary Clinton for over 25 years and have seen first hand how she gets results. As a woman, leader, and person of deep convictions, I believe Hillary Clinton would make the best possible choice for president. She shares so many of the concerns of my father. Hillary has spent a lifetime speaking out on behalf of the powerless and working to alleviate poverty, in our country and around the world. I have seen her work up close and know she will be a great President. At this moment when so much is at stake at home and overseas, I urge our fellow Americans to support Hillary Clinton. That is why my brother Bobby, my sister Kerry, and I are supporting Hillary Clinton.
