Original article: Levi Johnston: Stud

Nice try but Mr. "Johnson" is more wanker then stud

Or he'll be a gay icon. He might get paid but he can't win from the whole deal in the long run.

Frankly Bristol stands a better chance of getting ahead in life -- if she gets an education and ditches the 'rents and the right wing baloney. Stick around for the Jesus stuff and that's what will hold her back.

Knuckleheads is too nice - twenty-five (25%) of all GOP senators are IDIOTS

These guys are idiots, ignorant or otherwise.

Of the dopey dozen (12), eight (8) are GOP, three (3) Dems and one (1) Indie.

Of the three (3) Dems Baucus could be a GOP, leaving two (2) true Dems; Burris and Kohl. The one (1) Indie was seriously considered as a VP candidate next to McCain in the GOP. This makes Lieberman a GOP.

So that makes it ten (10) of the idiots GOP and two (2) Dems. Ten (10) is ten percent (10%) of the U.S. Senate BUT twenty-five (25) of the GOP, i.e., twenty-five (25) of all GOP Senators are IDIOTS.

"The Party of No" is also "The Party of the Stupid and Dumb".

Give 'em hell Barack!

This is the guy I voted for and he nailed it -- healthcare for everyone in the U.S. is a MORAL issue. This is about American values. This is about the right thing.

The irony is that many conservative and Christian senators and congressmen oppose doing the right thing...but then they'll burn in hell for not acting like Jesus.

unpatriotic punks

That's what much of the GOP wingnut faction has become - unpatriotic punks. These guys are the worst because they so often drape themselves in the flag and play the patriot card. In this case it shows what a bunch of hypocritical assholes the hard right wing GOP have become. The Party of No is also the Party of Unpatriotic Punks.

amoral might be the better term instead of lack of empahy

Isn't this the real bottom line? Healthcare is a moral issue and the fact that the GOP wants to kill any progress says it all.

In particular, all those God-fearing Christians and family values GOPs, aren't doing Christ's work if people aren't covered.

AMORAL.

It's not the progressives but the purple fence sitting indies swing voters

No doubt there's dissent from progressives but the decline in white supporters are more then likely purple indies swingers who wanted out of the W-induced GOP economic death spiral and war quagmire like everyone...AND the garden variety racist who happened to be polled.

For the swing voters now they have a Black man as president and they're just not happy but I really don't think it's about race, although I'm sure it doesn't help.

For the old school racist, what can you say? Is anyone surprised?

Any way, at this point, nine months into his term, the polls really mean little except for it shows a trend and frankly who gives a fuck white people being polled think. The whole thing sounds like white angst gone nuts...the sky is falling.

Man up for god sake the ride is going to be long and bumpy, Barack Obama is POTUS, so get use to it.

The show might be beyond repair but it won't be dumped

Heather Havrilesky is spot on with her analysis, even with suspended belief.

We can hope until death but it's not going to help out Jay's new show. I saw the new show and it was bad and dumb. The dumb part insultingly so. Worst however was it wasn't funny.

NBC has a dog on their hands, entertainment-wise.

Revenue-wise however I think they make bank. It's a really cheap slot to produce and even with ad rates at 50% off, they're making money.

And so it goes.

Original article: Santorum pre-buts Obama

"Pre-Butt" and Santorum -- there has to be a pun or dirty joke in there, somewhere

Is a pre-butt before the fun begins?

Whatever, bring it Slick Rick frothy boy! You'll still be santorum in the end! (pun intended)

Utter bullshit

Baucus is a corporate fluffer, clown-weasel. This bill is utter bullshit. Mandatory insurance, expanded markets for insurance companies, no real safety net, no competition to drive the blood-suckers and yet we have 10% unemployment.

To quote John McEnroe - YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME.

The efficiency stuff sounds great and might well work but the price of coverage WILL NOT GO DOWN and that's a big, big problem.

This is bad for families and individual but it's also handicapping the American economy to the tune of 10% every year over any other industrialized nation.

This is not reform -- it's repackaging a bag of shit.

Fuck Max Baucus.

Pity for W? Never - the guy fucked the country & world by his ignorance

W's and his administration not only crushed many citizen's lives by bad economic policy but he also started two wars where 100s of thousands have died needlessly.

Pity, NEVER. The guy should rot in hell.

Carter wasn't great but he redeemed himself - look at Hoover for #2

Carter suffered from little inside DC knowledge/staffers and poor performance but he wasn't that bad. As mentioned he at least had plans and took some action.

Ultimately Carter has redeemed himself during and after his presidency by his peace work. You don't win a Nobel for being a ninny. 4 more years as POTUS and he could have made a bigger dent in the Middle East. Later on Carter's work with Habitat for Humanity was huge, earnest and very real.

Bush has nothing on Carter. W's damage was/is monumental.

If you want a 2nd place, look no further then Herbert Hoover.
