Wow...

...Under what rock did you find these people hiding???

Let her be more herself?? I think she IS being herself. If the "handlers" gave us what we are seeing from her, then the McCain campaign is really poorly run.

There is no way she is being coached to act clueless and ill-informed unless McCain's goal is to throw the election.

And as for hiding her under the desk!?!? This woman could be president in short order given McLame's health... If she can't even handle a damn press conference - how is she going to handle high office?

I'm sorry if this is insulting, but Alaska is a backwater - less populated than many US cities - she is just not ready for the national stage and McCain is a moron for allowing her to get this far before pulling the plug.

Original article: Biden wins

I still don't get it...

She repeated rote talking points... read from cue cards all night, giggled like a 10 year old, can't think on her feet, is clearly out of her depth, lied many many times...

And yet because she did not explode or fall over or stammer she did well???? I can't understand how anyone can seriously defend this person as chief executive of the most complicated economy in the world with a straight face.

The fact that ANYONE thought she won or did OK shows how stupid the citizenry of this country has become over the last 30 years. This is what scares me more than anything else.

What's worse?

Being associated with a "domestic terrorist" who wanted to end the Viet Nam war? Or being associated with an entire political party including George Bush who have murdered thousands, perhaps millions in the name of "Spreading Democracy"

Spare me this indignation trolls... return the bridge from whence you came (the bridge to nowhere).

The real "terrorists" are people who start unprovoked wars and illegally occupy other countries.

Oooooooohhhh Bill Ayers is Soooooo scary. It seems REPUBLICAN Annenburg did not thinks he was a problem.

@ RobbySh

WTF are you talking about???

Sorry pal - Sarah Failin screwed her own pooch. She is a national embarrassment. A dolt who has no business running a McDonalds let alone a state or national government. She is a classic example of failing upwards - where someone manages to squeeze through without being discovered as incompetent.

If McCain and Palin loose in November - you can be sure that her politcal career in Alaska is probably over. The lights are on now... and it's obvious that nobody's home.

Wednesday, October 8, 2008 09:32 AM

Oh come on....

Other than her Nuremberg style hate rallies, McCain is going to keep her wrapped tighter than an Xmas present until election day - then she can skulk back to Alaska and finish her short, undeserved political career in obscurity where she belongs.

And one has to wonder, when given the chance to ask her some real questions, why is the press letting her set the tone by asking her about the stupid Ayers crap? How about some damn policy questions?

Original article: Nobody's dummy

@ PappaDave

Oh yes...

I know - education and intelligence - why on earth would anybody want that in a President? We've only been living with the king of the "Joe Six-packs" in the White House for the past 8 years... look at all the fantastic things he's done for our great nation. Thank god John Kerry and Al Gore "lost" otherwise we might actually be better off. Like we have been after most democratic administrations.

BTW... I have never been to a wine and cheese party.

As for November 5th... Ummmm the polls ALL say otherwise, as do McLame's empty campaign offices. And Palin's empty head.

As for Ms. Paglia... Yes I think we have underestimated the degree to which Ms. Palin dredges up the dark side of the winger soul with quotes from her supporters like "Kill Him" and "Treason". She's a real feminist - she shows that a woman with virtually 0 accomplishments can lie her way into any job. Hurrah!!!

Pennsyltucky...

...as I like to call it may indeed have issues with Obama...

It's the Appalachian factor at work I think.... But I am seeing more an more Obama signs in my neighborhood outside of Philly... All Obama has to do is hold the burbs and Philly really - that's where all the PA population is.

So? Who cares? Dennis Miller????? Hahahahahahaha!!!

And of all places it was on Dennis "all washed up" Miller's radio show? How many people listen to Dennis Miller? Two people?

I used to like Dennis Miller, until he began wetting his pants after 9/11. Now he;s just another scared wingnut, hiding under his bed from terrorists and evil "libruls".

Uh his show on cable did not last very long either. He should give it a rest already

Original article: "Body of Lies"

Ridley Scott...

... is a very good director - who has made some awful films along the way.

I was very dissapointed by American Gangster - the movie was just emotionally blank.

But he has made some incredible masterpieces as well. Alien, Blade Runner, Gladiator, Black Hawk Down - great films.

Give the guys some credit for tackling the subject matter, and doing it in a somewhat mainstream package. Many people never saw films like Syriana because art house stuff just does not appeal to everybody - maybe this flick will get the more average moviegoer to think a bit. Even if it's not a fantastic film.

Where oh where...

...have all the trollz gobe these days...

A few weeks ago they were absolutely sure that we were going to get our asses handed to us.

Oh well don't let the door hit you in the ass trollz! Make sure you stock up on prozac for November 5th... YOU ARE GOING TO NEED IT!
