Over the past 8 years, the center as accepted by most people I talk to is when the Democratic party caves in to the demands of the Republicans. In other words, Bush's version of "compromise"

Please explain to me what actual policy positions someone in the "center" cares about. And please don't go into a drone about "jes plain folks can't relate to the liberal elite"

Then explain how exactly John McCain fulfills those policies - and the desires of "centrists" better than Obama.

Also, explain to me how Barrack Obama's voting record is any more "left" leaning than the average Democratic Senator.

Most of America (according to most polls) does NOT subscribe to the homophobic, racist, and misogynistic social agenda of the right wing (what you call the center).

Also, I think most families want their young men and women in the military to actually fight for something real... and your true colors are shown... We can not afford as a country to blow smoke up each others collective asses to coddle people who are offended by reality. Iraq was an unjustified war and that is reality - why should we say any different?

I remember all the faux outrage over Clinton sending troops to Bosnia - where were you then? I don't remember any republicans or "centrists" crying that we should just line up behind the president because the troops families would be upset. Spare me please.

I don't think Sarah Palin is an expert on anything other than opportunisim. She will rebut facts... with gibberish. And although she may have won the Alaska debates on style - she is dealing with a much more wide ranging set of issues that many people have formed opinions about - if she can't clearly state what she thinks on a given subject, she'll go down in flames on the national stage. Also, Biden should give her enough dead air to hang herself with - just let her ramble, she's more than likely to screw up several dozen times.
