Blogs to articles (including the kiss up public ombudsmen) are how media fawning before the feet of governments makes uneducated readers think what they have to say is meaningful when it is not. Editorial ombudsmen are oxymorons, again to make the morons think their stupid dribbles of idiocy are other than what they are, as in 'I am important, when in fact, I am not.'

News (including editorials) is what editors decide it is. Noone in any country, any includes us (as in U.S.), can be compleatly informed on any subject of interest. Media editors bow before their governments or are silenced. In short, you get to see and read what the governments (or religins) decide you should see or read (remember the library at Alexandria, Egypt).

It is your thinking ability which is at stake of course: wide spread mind control is the almost exclusive purview of governments and religions. As the good book said, "it is hard to kick against the pricks," pricks being thorns although the propular use of the word in referring to individuals or institutions of disagreeable qualities is more apt.

A bit of critical thinking, to include a healthy dose of cynicism, would go a long way to preempting the seemingly overwhelming urge to show one's stupidity.

Just say know by saying no.

Sick? Both (D and R) are sick and an accurate reflection of our culture. Not the existence of homosexuals in it but rather the self righteous faux public revulsion, eye rolling, hand wringing, pursed lips, head shaking, closed eyes (especially closed eyes - not enough sand for everyone) hypocricy.

Get a grip guys! Some folks like it straight and some do not. Accept it and go on with things.

Sexual activity by adults with minors is criminal. Yes it is. So go after that.

But at least admit that a certain percentage of folks are queer (male or female). My first wife is a lesbian. Parse that one!

Took me a while to get over it. It had nothing to do with my sexual identity. So?

Our culture is guided by the principles of a fanatical, sex crazed, religious fundamentalism that has no place in civilized society. Even the Christian God seems to be gobbled up with dumb ass when it comes to sex.

Oh well. It's all rather ludicrous is it not(smiling and shaking head)?
