And now, Miss Carrie Nation will address us on the evils of intemperance...

My first-grader fixed me with a stare this past Sunday afternoon as I drank a beer and watched television with her. "Does that have alcohol in it?" She solemnly asked me. "Yes, it does." I answered. "Why do you drink it?" She asked. "I like the taste and I like the alcohol." I answered. She looked concerned.

I feel that same programmed concern from salon.com -- I can find my own way home, honest, guys...

I love PHC!!!

I love A Prairie Home Companion and have listened religiously for years and years... I can hardly wait to find a babysitter so I can see the Altman movie. If the "Golden Age of Radio" was half as good as PHC, then I really missed something being born a Boomer...

I$rael is the problem. A false-flag op changes nothing.

"Muslims" or "Islam" or the wonderful catchphrase "Arab terrorists" were on the receiving end of the 9/11/01 false-flag operation.

Remember the five Mossad agents arrested after being witnessed videotaping the collapse of the WTC towers while high-fiving one another and dancing? The ones whose white van tested positive for explosives residue..? And how their "moving company" owner fled the country PDQ after the first visit from the Feds? Interesting story. Kind of underreported, Faux News pulled the link within 72 hours of its initially appearing.

Really, how did "Arab terrorists" get the US govt to run several simulations coincidentally involving highjacked aircraft the morning on 9/11/01? How is it the "Arab terrorists" chose airports with security provided by Israeli companies? There are more loose ends to 9/11/01 than the JFK visit to Dallas in '63.

But the shitheads that comprise our population lap it up, they'll believe ANYTHING. Iraq was behind 9/11, right? Of course it was!

Witness the deafening silence regarding "The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy," the paper by Stephen Walt and John Mearsheimer -- try and view I$raeli influence inside the US govt as cancer. Feel healthy?

If "Muslims" or "Arab terrorists" wanted to hurt the US, why not slam the oil taps shut? Or raise the price of oil to $500 a barrel..? That would have far more effect that somehow bringing down a couple of Jewish-owned skyscrapers (neatly, on their own footprints... using aircraft? Puh-leeze... magic bullet physics at work, here).

Has it been mentioned that the cost to demolish the WTC exceeded their worth?

The emperor is not wearing any clothes! But I'm just a simple bumpkin and obviously don't know what I'm talking about, right?

My Hope for America

Is that persons with terminal illnesses do not take it upon themselves to shoot Republicans in the back of the head. That would not be doubleplusgood. Oh, no, no, no.

Good advice

Ignore everybody except your baby AND always have baby wipes, a few spare diapers, a warm tiny sweater, paper towels and kid-friendly bandaids within arm's reach. And forget about your past, you're doing this now.

Jihadwatch? Huh..?

I enjoyed the photos of the "Persia Royalists" in Paris... how about that old Peacock Throne, eh..? Yep, those were the good old days... say, didn't the US prop up the Palavis in Iran..?

I am not an anti-Semite.

Israel is a foreign country. Which receives an obscene share of US foreign aid, and apparently can arrange for the US to fight its wars (Set the 4th of July table for 2500 less than we expected, Ma). Israel seem to be some kind of forbidden facet or equation in US foreign policy, Israeli spying in the US is apparently kryptonite. I fold.

Straighten things out NOW

Get out of debt, never incur consumer debt again except for car and house purchases if you can possibly avoid it. Credit is a nightmare anchor. $7,000 won't take as long to get out from under than $30,000 did. Never again!!!

Many corporations find temporary workers through temp agencies and will then see how the "fit" is -- one of hte best corporate graphic design jobs I ever had came about that way, though I had initially discounted the temp agency. Live and learn.

Remember that corporate work will permanently taint you in the eyes of ad agency and design studio employers. Whether it's fair or not, you will be an Untouchable after lucrative corporate work. So once you go that route, put your heart into it, since there's no going back.

NYC probably sounds better than it is. But I'd get out of Texas to a semi-civilized area if I were you.

Former user..?

My understanding is that there are no "former" users... kind of like there are no "former" CIA agents... Bourdain is only slightly more full of hatred and anger than Bobby Flay... I turn the channel if I happen to see either of them... now, Alton Brown, there's a talent...

Are you joking..?

Did a foreign country invading a nation make things BETTER..? What are you on..? Leave us not forget, gentle reader, that the US and Britain saw fit to impose "no-fly zones" independent of international law... basically they kept Iraq on the back burner, and 9/11/01 gave them the green light they wanted to proceed with an invasion.

Remember back in the early 70s when Hussein nationalized Iraq's oil..? And the US and British oil companies didn't get eight-cent-a-barrel oil any longer..? Wow, were they ever pissed off... look at Iraq's history since then with that fact in mind.

Lieberman is a "centrist"..? How do you figure..?

I'd say he's more of a DINO... Democrat In Name Only. Furthermore, when I hear about Lieberman I figure that he's representing Tel Aviv and not Connecticut. We invaded Iraq at I$rael's request. I$rael is not the 51st state nor is it any kind of "sister" nation -- I$rael is a foreign country with an undue, even baffling, amount of influence over the US, particularly our foreign policy. A Democrat in favor of a "pre-emptive" war of conquest, coincidentally against one of I$rael's numerous enemies..? Who are we kidding..?
