Not the 97%+ required for nuclear WEAPONS which Israel possesses in quantity -- that would be an illegal nuclear arsenal. Do I need to get that translated into fucking Yiddish for anyone to comprehend what I'm saying?
Israel has an illegal nuclear arsenal and refuses international inspections. Israel is not eligible to accept one penny of US aid given their uninspected nuclear arsenal. Symington Amendment, ever heard of it?
The Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 was amended by the Symington Amendment (Section 669 of the FAA) in 1976. It banned U.S. economic, and military assistance, and export credits to countries that deliver or receive, acquire or transfer nuclear enrichment technology when they do not comply with IAEA regulations and inspections. This provision, as amended, is now contained in Section 101 of the Arms Export Control Act (AECA).
Iran allows IAEC inspections. Israel does not. Iran is within its rights to pursue nuclear power -- the US signed the same treaty (though I guess we ought to ask any Native American what that's worth). Israel has WMDs -- remember Iraq? Maybe we should have invaded Israel instead of Iraq if we were concerned about WMDs.
Is was between Iran and Israel inevitable? A better question would be "is a nuclear false-flag attack on an American city inevitable?" Think it over -- Israel sets off a nuclear weapon in an American city and pins it on Iran. The US, always dumb as a rock, stomps Iran flatl. Israel giggles on the sideline. Kind of a 9/11 situation, but with nuclear weapons.
So the issue is whether or not the US should discourage Iran from nuclear power in order to prevent Israel from staging another false-flag attack in order to manipulate the US into attacking Iran.
What, like that's not plausible? Put down the Kool-Aid and detox for a while. History will marvel at the parasite-host relationship the US enjoys with Israel.
Israel appears to believe that every neighbor behaves as deceitfully as it does. "To live outside the law you must be honest" and all that.
Like an auto engine run without coolant...just ca-CHUNK, frozen solid from too much hypocrisy.
Fuck both of them.
"Haven't the bogus elections put the legitimacy of the government at stake?"
Can you name even one single news organization that asked this question about the Bush43 2004 re-election? Why was this question not asked in the US in 2004?
Neither his appointment in 2000 nor his tainted re-election in 2004 brought this question to the forefront in any mainstream media that I was aware of. Was the legitimacy of Bush43 every questioned after his dubious elections?
"Keep it in your pants" is a bit jocular. Is it too much to expect, from a public official, no less, to remain faithful to their wife? I mean, if you happen to fall madly, deeply in love with someone (at the age of 40?!) then take the time to remove yourself from your existing relationships.
By that time, you are old enough to know better, really. The thing is, public officials, politicians, being in the public eye, might possibly have been expected to set at least something of a moral tone through their behavior. I realize that most of the GOP are assholes, but I'm thinking of Gavin Newson (sp?), the mayor of Frisco who boinked the wife of one of this staff members.
Hello? Am I just old-fashioned? You just don't DO that.
Too bad the linked YouTube video isn't "Dancing Machine" from 1975... great song. Michael Jackson was very entertaining and original.
At some point later in his career I happened to be in an electronics store and one of the televisions was showing what must have been a music video. Michael Jackson was dancing and singing along with an entire African village. It looked real and spontaneous and the joy on the faces of the people was unmistakable. It was incredible. I'd never seen anything like it. Phenomenal talent.
"Though Gore came in second in the electoral vote, he received 543,895 more individual votes than Bush."
The Supreme Court Justices were interested in their planned Christmas vacations and appointed Bush43 to his first term.
Yes, GTFO ***NOW*** -- you're wasting your time. Build something better without the psycho in the picture.
Either Dr. Paul or Dr. Coburn from Oklahoma. Too bad he didn't bother to get his facts straight.
I am truly weary of politicians soliciting money and promising change. They know it's what we want and it burns when no change results from contributions. What do they do with all the money? Burn it to keep warm? Asian hookers? Coke? What???
Well, it's still around, but decidedly unfriendly to consumers -- my point being that this absurd junk-science "climate bill" will no doubt create a money flow to and from the immediate circle of political contributors for the politicians who voted for it (without reading it!).
Real change? America isn't up to it. We're too corrupt and we're too fucking stupid. Like someone in a kind of drug-induced stupor, can't clear their heads, can't focus on anything long enough to accomplish it.
This bill is a joke. The bastards didn't even read it. So who knows what's in there? The House needs a staff of babysitters and nannies.
But "not so scary after all" makes me think they're putting Disney chemicals in your local water supply. The US has cheerfully exporting high-paying jobs for too long. Where are the consumers to purchase US goods? Overseas where the jobs are. Get it?
The initial bail-out last fall and the huge pork train that was passed after Obama was inaugurated stagger the mind with just how much money was gleefully given away. Oversight? Accountability? Who needs those?
Anyone notice that the House Resolution to audit the Fed is slowly making progress? Do we dare drop a rock down the rabbit hole and see if we can hear it hit bottom?
The only politician I have ever felt personally comfortable with. Please, Al, stay off of small planes. They murdered Wellstone and they'll be gunning for you.
