You can trust big pharma corps

Not. They're in it for the money. And they're corporations, meaning they don't have to face any real accountability.

I remember my little daughter getting immunized against chicken pox... and then coming down with the worst case of chicken pox I'd ever seen. And then giving it to her big brother.

Vaccines. Delightful. Got any more? You have my complete trust.

NO WAY.

Call their offices NOW. Gee, I see Nancy "Let Them Get Away" Pelosi in the photo with Paulson.

While you're on hold, clean your guns with the other hand. It's time for a new government.

NO bail-out

NO trillion dollar slush fund

NO lack of oversight

I'd like to hear that CEOs are now in prison without bail for gambling and LOSING and expecting Uncle Sam to print more worthless dollar bills to get them out of their hole.

Did you read Paulson's flubbering about why CEOs need to be paid obscene salaries? Gotta love him... he maintained a poker face...

Quid Pro Quo?

Like repealing the Patriot Act, getting the fuck out of Iraq and Afghanistan, restoring Habeas Corpus and best of all getting rid of the Federal Reserve and ending the curse of fiat currency in this country.

Sending Bush43 and Cheney to the Hague to face war crimes charges would be nice, too.

Buying crap debt helps us how, exactly?

Does it maintain the worldwide derivatives house of cards? I'd like to see the problem addressed in terms of the Federal Reserve issuing worthless fiat currency backed by nothing -- a central bank is ALWAYS a bad idea.

Aren't there upwards of $50 TRILLION in shady derivatives out there? The entire global economy is $15 TRILLION per annum. I don't see how bailing out Paulson's former firm is helping anyone other that... already-rich executives.

I say NO WAY. Let them fall. Scrap the Fed and get the US Dollar back on the gold standard. It worked for Russia. Maybe what we need to effect any real "change" in this country is to hit bottom and then rebuild.

The Federal Reserve is a private bank. Dig into its history. Examine the other central banks the US has suffered under. Central banks are NOT GOOD FOR THE COUNTRY.

Let's not treat this cancer but eliminate it altogether.

If Bernanke and Paulson were publicly hanged...

It would be a good first step.

I've BEEN angry since Bush43 was appointed President. By this time I'm fucking furious. I realize that gasoline is expensive, but if we make SMALLER molotov cocktails I think we can afford them.

How many Blackwater goons have to be immolated before we get to the suits?

Bailout? I don't think so.

Move on, my ass

The Federal Reserve ought to be SHUT DOWN. No central bank in the US ever again.

NO bailout. NO WAY.

Arctic pack ice up 9% this summer

Can you say "Ice Age"?

Mankind couldn't change the climate if it wanted to.

Typical Republican piffle

Further raping of the environment will not reduce gas prices. The oil corporations will vend the oil @ OPEC prices.

The reason gas prices are high has more to do with the plummeting value of the US dollar rather than the number of well heads.

The Democrats manage to fumble another one and look like morons doing it.

Miss Teen South Carolina

Now HERE we have a Democratic commercial ready to go.

"Do you want this freaking airhead in the White House?"

Original article: Where is the outrage?

Outrage? I'm furious.

>The Bush administration isn’t blameless in letting this get out of hand, but clearly the origins of the disaster and the efforts to keep bad policies in place fall on the Democrats in this case.

What? Uh, Linda Mae, I was alive and aware when Reagan was in office. "The Bush administration isn't blameless..." no shit?

So I make phone calls and I write letters. As I've done going on thirty-five years.

How about if Paulson, Bernanke, the willing cohorts Pelosi and Reid, et cetera, take a nice, slow JFK-style tour of every American city? Kind of get back in touch with the American people. As in showing their faces. When was the last time you saw a politician? When was the last time a politician was in range, so to speak?

Angry? You have no idea.

An appointed President, a false-flag attack with its requisite cover-up, wars of aggression, shredding the Constitution, a plummeting dollar, and now a just-trust-us bailout with no oversight nor legal recourse after the fact?

You have got to be putting me on. We need to scuttle the Fed (A PRIVATE BANK) -- if they're broke, so be it. The FED and not the US taxpayers can pay off their worthless Federal Reserve notes.

Bending over backwards to appease AIPAC

1. Israel is a foreign country

2. AIPAC represents that foreign country

3. Why is a US Presidential candidate embarrassing himself to appease a foreign country?

4. Iran has signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty

5. Israel has not.

Shut down the Federal Reserve.

Our currency is worth next to nothing. It's INSANE to have a central bank -- fiat currency is a losing proposition to all except those who print the money.

Bail out the bankers? For more of the same? No way. No way in hell.

Ever known anyone who didn't get burned with derivatives? And we're supposed to bail out CEOs and CFOs who receive millions of dollars in salary? You must be joking.

Let it fail. Rebuild it on solid ground. If the Fed's out of money, it's THEIR problem -- it's a private bank. No bailout.

What's the big hurry?

And I agree with the writer above, perhaps Congress can be bothered to WORK next week rather than take off to observe a religious holiday observed by 2% of the population.

What's the rush? When someone is rushing you, they're trying to pull the wool over your eyes. No oversight? Trust Secretary Paulson? Are you people insane?

NO. FUCKING. WAY.

The banks/whomever bet on derivatives, they got burned, they can take the hit. Life will go on.

NO BAILOUT.

Let me explain this in a way you will understand, Mr. President

No. Nothing doing. Let the shit hit the fan. No bailout. NO WAY.
