  • What a stupid question

[Read the article: For the CIA's eyes only]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Where were you in the 70s? The 80s? The 90s? Today? OF COURSE the CIA or another acronymed-agency "lost" whatever tapes they had. Business as usual!

The School of the Americas (SOA), rechristened the “Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation" in 2001 churned out metal-table types throughout the 80s. It was torture then and it's torture now. And that would be a fucking WAR CRIME.

Since Dubya, Cheney, Rummy et al knew and approved of the use of torture, they are war criminals. And they ought to face an international tribunal and if found guilty ought to be hanged.

If that was a good enough fate for Saddam Hussein (whose sole crime was nationalizing Iraq's oil industry, pissing off UK and US oil interests something fierce), it's good enough for Bush43. Of course, an international tribunal is a far cry from a kangaroo court in a war zone, but if it ends with Bush43 and Cheney having to answer for their crimes I'd say that justice will have been served.

On the other hand, perhaps torturing Cheney and his puppet would reveal insights into the real story of 9/11/01. Something to consider. We've already slipped on the banana peel, so why not waterboard Cheney and see what he'll spill? We can destroy the tapes later.

  • Why does this put a smile on my face..?

[Read the article: Is Orange County too sophisticated for its own good?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I don't want to be mean about it, I grew up in Orange County. But the unbridled greed and mania for real estate that literally destroyed the communities I knew in my youth, the pave-it-all/greed-is-good mentality -- one could only hope that it would come back and bite the perps hard in the rear end. It was once such a nice place to live, it really was. When I visit these days -- McMansions and shopping centers.

  • When will Bush43 accept Ahmadinejad's invitation to visit?

[Read the article: Bringing Iran in from the cold]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I doubt that Bush43 would be treated as rudely as was Ahmadinejad was when he visited the USA.

Israel is like a shitty, controlling girlfriend who runs her boyfriend's life. Think about it. What the f*ck do we care what Israel wants? Israel is a foreign country. Why does Israel have its forearm up the ass of America?

Would you not love to see the stammering, confused dry-drunk face of our 43rd President having tea with President Ahmadinejad in Iran? He could even bring along a coterie of Orthodox Jews straight from Israel to monitor his every word and deed!

What could possibly scare Bush43 more than the specter of DIALOGUE? The very thought puts a smile on my face.

  • Dersh: shedding a tear for mercenaries?

[Read the article: Blackwater in Baghdad: "It was a horror movie"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Since they're "doing God's work" as I'm sure Mr. Prince of Blackwater would love to have you believe?

OK, yeah. Did the "liberal media" cause our loss in Viet Nam, also? You seem like the type to buy the whole hook-line-sinker, no matter how absurd it is. Oswald acted alone?

I suppose you feel that the military didn't commit a(nother) war crime by using white phosphorous on a civilian population in Fallujah in retribution over Blackwater's four dead contractors, correct?

What prevents Bush43 and Cheney and the whole NeoCon gang from facing war crimes charges? Invading Iraq appears to have been on the agenda for quite some time before 9/11/01 -- and all of Bush43's lies hinge on the cover up of 9/11/01.

What's one more massacre either way? When you're a short-hair suit-wearer with God on your side there are no war crimes. Is that about the size of it, Dersh? "Kill them all -- God knows his own"?

IMHO the only good mercenary is a dead mercenary.

  • The holidays, like most things

[Read the article: "Ho ho ho," or "Bah, humbug"?]

are what you make of them.

  • The Zionist dream ticket

[Read the article: Party of two: Lieberman and McCain]

Ideal for those who don't place American First, Second and Third.

  • So did those Ron Paul spammers donate all that money?

[Read the article: McCain wins early newspaper primaries]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I guess it wasn't newsworthy... I don't want to be accused of ranting and raving, but there does seem to be a single party running all candidates, the War Party, and I want no part of it.

How did all those Ron Paul spammers and autobots manage to donate all that money? 25,000 first-time donations, too. I'm certain that there's nothing to it and that if we ignore it, it will go away.

McCain? C'mon, you're joking, right? A brittle, angry old man.

  • So it's an egg poacher? For the toasterless?

Would this little four-egg insert not do the trick? Not to be a fun-hater, but $30 is a lot for a gadget like that. I do appreciate the information that a McD's egg muffin features steamed eggs.

  • Or this one for a single-person serving?

  • Stormfront?

[Read the article: Ron Paul won't return white supremacist's $500]

Is that the site based (whois.org) in WEST PALM BEACH, Florida..? You don't have to think very hard about this one.

  • $34 for a pan?

You're not paying for these toys out of pocket, are you?

  • Great article. The Fed is an interesting subject.

[Read the article: Death to the Fed! A Ron Paul manifesto]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

In my left hand I hold a Roman coin, minted in gold. It still has worth to this day. In my right hand I hold a wad of bank notes, which are made of paper. And are worth nothing.

The Federal Reserve is a private bank and paper money is worth paper. World banks have been printing money as fast as they can over the past few months backed by -- nothing.

If Ron Paul's candidacy serves only to enlighten people to the dangers of fiat currency it will have been worthwhile.

  • We are illegally occupying Iraq and our soldiers are dying for nothing

A story like this is pure fluff. FOCUS PLEASE.
