  • The Lobby approves

[Read the article: Ahmadinejad, big man on campus]

Oh, wait, forgive me, there IS no "Lobby" and there is no undue Zionist/Israeli/PNAC influence over US foreign policy, neither does Israel own just about every US politician.

Now: let's attack Iran. Israel wants us to do it and the US always does what Israel tells it to do. We haven't done enough for Israel. We can never do enough for Israel. We need that "Holocaust" Museum in Washington DC. In fact, every American town with a population of over 15,000 needs its own Holocaust Museum. Vital sales tools. Oops! Damn, that just slipped out.

But seriously, we need to borrow more money from China in order to continue to fund Israel. Without question. Without debate.

  • Ignoring the November 2006 election

[Read the article: Iraq and roll over]

Was it not clear what the voters wanted? Yet somehow Pelosi and Reid refuse to deliver -- Congress merely rolls over. Business as usual.

Mike Gravel has a good idea. It worked to get the US out of Viet Nam. Maybe it would work again. But it would require a backbone.

Or maybe the country has gone insane and there's no hope left.
